Miller's Ale House - South Philadelphia reviews
27The server Tasha was fantastic and attentive to all of our needs. Food portions were tiny and lacking quality. We will not be back.
The food was ok. I got the nachos and cajun chicken pasta both were just ok. Our server forgot to get my drink.
A little bit of a wait to be seated, which is fine. When we finally got seated no one acknowledged us or offered drinks for about 25 minutes. By the time we were acknowledged by a server to offer drinks we were ready to order our meals. Drinks didn't get to us until food arrived. No silverware or napkins offered until we asked when meal came.
Second time visiting Miller's Ale house same experience as the first took a good 15mins before anyone came over another 20mins for our food a group of 6 came in 15mins after us received their drinks and appetizers before us. Almost walk out but stayed because of the kids, will not be returning to any Miller ale house poor service.
My coworkers and I went out for lunch on a rainy Friday to celebrate New Year's. This is a sports bar with lots of TVs and it has ample parking. The menu is large and meat centric. My coworkers had burgers that they all liked. I had a grilled mahi sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and tartar sauce. They did a pretty good job with it. Mahi can be tricky to get right. It was also one of a few choices that was below 700 calories. The menu has that info so you can make an informed choice. Lastly, there's an extensive beer (craft as well as regular) list and the wine list isn't bad either. I would go again and recommend Miller's to a friend.
Its a great place to meet up with friends! Tge staff was friendly. It took a bit long for service I guess because it was pretty crowded but overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was good and the drinks were better!
It was as welcoming as a prickly clam and i sat at the bar for a solid 10 minutes with my girlfriend and then left without ever being acknowledged by any of the staff, even though they were joking around by the kitchen. I would have asked for the manager but the only employee wearing a tie was flirting with servers by the kitchen, as the bartender was nowhere to be found.
There burger and steak pretty much gave me and the family food poisoning and couldnt eat for like 2 days. Thanks Millers!
Worst dining experience ever. Got the big cheese nacho appetizer and it was way too much, too expensive, and tasted awful. Then got the zingers that they are "known for" and tasted like plain white chicken. Cheese was not fully melted and barely any sauce on them. We got them taken off the bill and left. Waited over an hour for this terrible meal. Waitress was very nice and apologized many times but doesn't help that we wasted our night here. Unfortunately I will not be returning here.
We went on a Saturday night so the wait was almost an hour. When our group got seated the server was quick to get our drink and appetizer order, and apologized in advance for what she knew would be a long wait. The food did take forever, but came out hot and delicious. The pile of nachos on my plate was outrageous. It tasted halfway decent too. That was the consensus at our table. Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The service was exceptional tho.
My meal never came. Someone's salmon was brought out dry then sent back raw. Told us wait would be 25 minutes but was actually 50 minutes. When we complained about wait time we were told that Wendy's was down the street. Horrible experience.
Service is good, sweet tea is not available unlike the one in Baltimore Pike. Shrimp Alfredo Linguine and Squid Calamari taste better at Millers Baltimore Pike Springfield
I love Miller's Ale House! Especially when Laura is working, she is the best! Chrissy Sox and the guys, we love her!
Our burgers were nasty and our server paid more attention to her other customers and she messed up our order.
Big TV screen is not good for watching games on, its 4 TVs, not one screen and there is even a misalignment from one TV to the next
Bartender Kaitlyn was great to me and my friend and she is one to keep around for sure. Great employee, great experience.
Good chicken fingers platter! Very helpful when I told the waitress that I had a seafood allergy! The chefs prepared my food carefully made sure that there was no cross contamination.
Really nice sport bar. Lots of parking. The bartender was cool asl. The food was Excellent and the drinks were very cold. Definitely will be back soon
This location has better decor and parking vs their NE Philly location. Staff is kinda slow and rarely the seating hostess is at her post.
Terrible they told me there was gonna be a half hour wait it turned out to be an hour and a half the manager was collecting cover charges for the fight and not telling people that they might not be able to get a seat but telling his employees that stall the customers and just keep collecting cover charges it was horrible
