Miller's Ale House - South Philadelphia reviews
27The food is good but service is slow. They have a good number of beers but they are all from large, national breweries. It would be nice to have a selection of local beer.
I got the red beans and rice and seasonal vegetables. The food was yummy, but the server was rather brunt and not terribly friendly. Seemed like she was having a bad day, and she didn't hide it very well.
But the food was good.
Visited on a busy Friday night.not a long wait to sit but did wait a bit to have our order taken. Ordered the speciality hamburger and a water. Food was prepared as requested and pretty good for the price. It was very busy but our waiter only checked on us once after our food arrived, however I am not too bothered by that as I didnt see a single employee goofing off, it was just very busy. Overall would return here again, interior is nice, dimly lit, interesting decor.
I work at Lowes was there on 09/15/18 with co-workers service was very poor we had to keep asking the manager on duty where is our waitress, when she did come food was cold, and she wasn't pleasant at all l think l will eat at longhorn instead.
The one in South Philly wasn't that good the raspberry tea was extremely sweet, the baby back ribs was too salty, the mashed potatoes and gravy was also salty. That's the last time I'll eat there. My husband had flat iron steak and boom boom shrimps said it was good.
Decent food at a decent price with good service. A little load but it is a sports bar so that is to be expected.
We arrived at the restaurant at 11: 20 pm. It took several minutes for a employee to come to the front an greet us. After greeting us the employee informed us they were not seating anyone. Because they closed 12am and last call is at 11: 30pm. I would have understood this if we had a big party. But since we had a party of two, and it was before 11: 30 we should have been allowed to dine. Really disappointed!
