Miller's Ale House - Springfield reviews
36Usually love this place but tried calling in a pick up order and was told I can't. I'd have to go online to place an order. Problem is that its a 3rd party website and you get charged fees. Very disappointing
Purchased three jambalaya yesterday. I was happy to see it back on the menu. However, they were horrible. Over seasoned, rice mushy, just a bad experience. Please bring back the person that was making it before. The rice would be fluffy and the flavors were on point. I order from miller's a lot but I think I'll skip this one. Also, the pretzel is to buttery and the beer mustard is to beer forward. Come on Miller's y'all can do better.
Went there for my birthday. My first time, a little wait because pandemic rules. Definitely will return, I enjoyed my meal and desert
I went to Miller's Ale House to reunite with my best friend/sister. The place was warm and inviting. Customer service was great! We had a wonderful time!
Service is usually slow, but friendly. I only go here for the cue bacon burger. Its consistently good. Other items I've tried or guests have tried are not as good. Dinner crowd tends to order seafood. If you have a shellfish allergy, go during lunch.
We went to this restaurant to watch the euro 2020 soccer match. There was no one sitting at any tables but the majority of the bar patrons were there to watch the game. I ordered a specialty drink off the menu, it was so sweet you couldn’t drink it. I asked the manager to let us hear the game since no one was in the restaurant and everyone was trying to watch and he replied no the music was more important for the guests at the tables (there weren’t any). The nachos were only ok.
Worst sports watching establishment, the TVs are positioned so you can’t see the game properly without leaning over the bar and not hearing the games was an absolute let down.
The drink I didn’t like was removed from in front of me but no one asked if or why I didn’t like it and it remained on the bill.
I would never frequent this establishment again.
I love this place! They prepare decent dishes, their menu is decent, The chef in that restaurant is a real pro, I love very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently good, the service towards the clients is efficient. I often go to this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.
In this time of COVID-19, we were seated right away, and our orders were taken within 10 minutes. The food was delish!
Love the zingers. Especially the sweet thai chili flavor. Had the black and blue burger. Loved the blue cheese. Will definitely return
Had lunch there with friends. It wasn't crowded. Server very pleasant. Food was very good. I had the meatloaf lunch special. The only problem was my beer. I was drinking an IPA. It tasted unusually sweet. When I looked closely at my glass I saw sugar on the outside rim of the glass. The waitress took it back and the manager came over and apologized, gave me a new beer and comped the first one.
The food is usually ok here but the presentation and portions of the food they serve could use a little tweeking.
I have been to Springfield, PA and Willow Grove, PA Millers many times with my husband. Food, service, prices and atmosphere have always been consistent. We love Millers and and would love to see one built in every City and State.
Have been here other times and had better food and service. Waited for meal 35 minutes.why do i know i faced the clock there when seated. We had the kids with us thought they would have been fed faster then that. I wanted another glass of water and that took 10 minutes. Kids were complaining and nothing worse then salty food and slightly over done steaks and burgers. Its a shame we liked it at one time. Oh well all good things must have an end.
Food was great, service was fantastic, wait time could have been better but overall enjoyed my dinner
The service is good and the food and drinks came out fast. The menu is extensive. The place is also clean.
This was my first time here at the restaurant very nice very clean. The hostess was what's good greeted us nicely. The food was great my waiter service was good recommended to try
Good food. Good prices. Lots of space. We had the Scott Paper Alumni Reunion there in July 2018, and it worked out very well. Our servers were excellent, and the managers were easy to work with.
Wednesday they offer a whole Maine Lobster dinner for $14.95. Hard to beat, but get there early they sell out quickly. Tried visiting three times before we got the Maine Lobster, and that was at 4: 30 PM.
Usually good food, tonight was sub par. Service is never great, tonight was no exception. Last time we were there server was great though.
The place has plenty of T. V. 's I ate the Mahi Mahi sandwich. It was delicious. I finished the night with ice Caramel crunch.
