Visited to obtain a flu shot. Short wait. Friendly and professional staff. Note: Before using your insurance at Patient First to obtain a flu shot determine if your insurance company will cover the cost if the shot is obtained from an urgent care facility as Patient First is considered an urgent care facility and some insurance plans will not cover the cost if the shot is obtained from an urgent care facility. If your insurance is billed and the cost is not covered you will end up paying $93 out of pocket (i.e. $36 for the shot + $57 for administration).

My first time to use urgent care, I was reluctant because so much flu going around. They were clean, prompt, but I never saw a doctor I saw i think a medical assistant who told me everything looked good when I knew I was sick. Much to my surprise I received a phone call less than 24 hours later after a doctor read my X rays again thank goodness for that, to be told I do in fact have pneumonia. To me this is huge. I only used them because of convenience and my work schedule, I will definitely follow up with my physician from here on out, pretty upset.

I got there at 6pm right after work and it was packed. I got checked in and my vitals checked. I sat in the waiting room WAITING for forever. I was sitting there for 2.5 hours until I FINALLY got taken back. During my wait in the waiting room, I noticed people who came in an hour or later AFTER me were being seen right away and were done as I'm sitting there in pain. It was eventually just me and other 7 people waiting to be seen and then more people were coming in and you guessed it, THEY GOT TAKEN BACK BEFORE ANY OF US THAT HAVE BEEN THERE WAITING. I finally got called back into a room and ended up waiting in the room for a half hour until they finally took me to get an x-ray! And then continued to wait another half hour until someone came in, told me the news, and pretty much told me "I'll be fine. " Did nothing to help with the pain I've been in or anything. I'm very disappointed. I would recommend that if you really need to be seen, just go to the hospital because they'll do more to help you. I should've just went myself. Not to mention, their HIPAA there sucks. I asked to see MY x-ray of MY foot and refused because "we have other things pulled up you can't see. " Well, why don't you remove or minimize them so I can see what I'm PAYING for!? !? !? Completely unprofessional and every worker there looks miserable beyond belief.

Please take the time to look at the attached pictures. I have written a more detailed review as there is not enough character space here. I have had the worst experiences here at the Pottstown Patient First. In no way shape or form do they meet HIPAA regulations, nor do they care about their patients as their name suggests. I have never been in another establishment where the staff was as rude and as careless as this one was. I was told to file a formal complaint about this facility with the state of Pennsylvania if I do not hear back from Corporate about these issues within 24 hours.

If you'd like to be taken care of, and you'd like your personal information to stay private, please do not visit this establishment.

AS FOR TISH AND FAWN AND WHOEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO REPLY AS. YPU HAVE DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I HAVENT RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO MY VOICEMAILS OR MY EMAILS SO DON'T PLAY THE "PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY" CARD.

You have no problem looking me up in your system apparantly ao please look up my contact information and give me a call i would love to FINALLY speak to someone about this.

Everyone is so helpful and they try to make you feel better sooner than general doctor offices. My doctor's office is very slow and I wait and the people are very grouchy. I wish I could make you my regular doctor.

I waited an hour and a half last time I went which is completely ridiculous. Then once they finally brought me back I waited another half hour until the doctor finally saw me. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the staff is friendly but the wait makes it almost unberable.

Wish I could rate this place with 0 stars. Absolutely terrible. When I arrived I was the only patient in the waiting room, while some people were already being checked in or being seen. I had to wait an hour and a half and never even got seen because I couldn’t wait any longer. After a while I asked how long it would take and they said “you’re next” so I patiently waited another twenty minutes before I asked again and they responded “you’re next”. So after that I left and they didn’t even give me a refund. The only reason they gave me for taking so long was “the doctor is new to the company”. So the doctors aren’t even prepared enough to work efficiently. Might I add that the majority of the workers were pretty rude as well.

This is unfortunately the third time in 3 days I've had to return to this office. The first time I was told I have a mild concussion, which I figured that was the case. I had to leave work since my instructions were not to drive or do anything really, just rest my head and to come back in the next day. I went back in the following day to get cleared for work and waited for over 2 hours to literally just get clearance and my boyfriend got called into work so we had to leave because he was my ride there. So, now I have to go back today and drive myself (when I'm not supposed to) because I don't have anyone that can drive me. The staff seems worn out to the point that they are miserable. Overall, I'm not thrilled about going back but I have no choice, I have to be able to work!

If it were possible to put 0 stars, that is what I would have put down. The staff here in incredibly disrespectful. Not only were they rude and condescending to me, but they also seemed to have no idea what they were doing. One day, my boyfriend and I went in there after getting into a small car accident. We were brought in separately and after being disrespected by the nurse, I decided I didn't want to receive their assistance and went to collect my boyfriend. After discussing everything, we learned that if we hadn't left then, the clueless practitioner my boyfriend had been speaking to would have processed it wrong and gotten him in trouble with his insurance company.

This place either needs to shut down, or they need to replace their staff.

Poor experience for me and fiancé fiancé was called back to check height and weight and blood pressure then told to sit in waiting room till a room opened then moved to a room and waiting in the room now for a hour and still waiting this is ridiculous if ur that slow u need to hire new people this is extremely ridiculous it doesn’t take a hour or more for a strep test to come back and it’s not strep

Took my daughter there for earache and sore throat, they checked her ears and throat said she might have the flu! (Lol) tested her for that so we sat and waited another 20 min for the results which we knew would be negative were! They said viral and sent us home. I did call back there later in the day because she is still complaining was told after being put on hold multiple times to give her Sutafed! Lol so the next day took her to the family doctor and she has double ear infections and strep throat! Something they didn’t even test her for. When I told our family doctor he just shook his head and said no comment! I would NEVER go back there again! Please do not go to this place. Go to the ER or wait for your family doctor!

For starters, My sick father was denied service, due to insurance issues. Second, the wait is way too long (doesn't matter what time of the day or night you go), Third, they are no doors in the examination rooms, so anybody can hear your diagnosis and medical business (a HIPPA violation). Lastly, the staff, including the doctors, are very unprofessional.
