I would give 0 strs if possible. Worst service ever. You have to wait forever and they make absolutely no attempt to keep line moving or explain delays.

Horrible experience here. Waited on line FOREVER and they stopped calling numbers in my line without any explanation. When asked if they were going to resume seeing people in my line, they could not give an answer as to when they would continue doing so. Absolutely horrible. Complete waste of time. Go elsewhere.

I went to get my Juniors Permit, but got denied even though i went with my brother who was a legible guardian. We were told i had to bring a parent, which i then did the week after. We had a passport as a form of ID for my mother because she didnt drive but we got denied again, having been told she needs a “real form of ID”. When we said my brother was above 21, we were told it wouldnt work without explanation, even though the penndot website says guardian 21 or older, parent, spouse etc.
Went to norristown DMV the same day and were allowed with the passport. Poor experience.

The guy that was helping me was having a problem with the machine that was printing my license and when I asked the manager if he could help him he said to me he is just having a problem with the machine in a nasty voice.

Stood in line for almost 2 hours, most people had on mask and social distanced as best they could. The staff were friendly and were extremely helpful even considering the circumstances. Will definitely return to this office.

The service is horrible, I’ve waited for at least and hour and a half waiting for my test. And let alone the lines being longer than who knows what. They need to better the service here.

There are long lines and you mostly wait outside to keep social distancing. Bring water and a chair if needed for hot days. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

Refused to scan real ID documents - I didn't want to get the real ID now, just scan my documents, and they turned me away. On the PENNDOT website they say you can have the documents scanned at any facility, but obviously that's not happening

The Dmv at Huntingdon Valley let people sit waiting for hours with number tickets they were not calling and it wasn’t fixed by personnel. Customers had to ask individually after waiting. We waited 2 1/2 hrs before getting a number they would actually call just for a license renewal. We had to leave before we were called.

I have been waiting 1 and a half hours and still no movement. Was told this place is faster and more efficient. NOT

Lady guarding the kiosk has no idea what she’s talking about told me I needed my social security card for a name change so I went home got the card on my way back I called to see if I really needed it because I had a feeling she had no idea what she was talking about and the lady on the phone said no she’s wrong so I told her and she gave ME attitude when she’s the one who doesn’t know her job. Useless employee.

Our number is 357 and it's at 338 for last 10 minutes. They turned off the sign with the numbers and walked away.

This is the best DMW I have ever been to. The stuff is efficient and professional, kind and helpful. Plus you can get your drivers license at the spot.

Despite all the negative reviews, that wasn't my experience.
In and out in about 20 minutes renewing my DL and the two employees I interacted with were very courteous.

Went in and asked the lady where her CDL permit applications were, she said she didn’t know what they were and that I would have to contact PENDOT. On the way out the door, I found a stack of CDL permit applications. I went back up to the lady and reminded her where they were Incase someone else comes in and asks. She gave me a dirty look as if I just banged her mom

All the service is great except for the belligerent, rude "receptionist" guarding the front door. You'd be better off with a pitbull greeting your patrons.

Worst place ever. They do absolutely nothing right. The testing guy, Bill, is KNOWN throughout PA for being absolutely horrible and failing everyone. I took my test with a private driving school and the owner of the place was telling me about how he hates Bill bc everyone gets failed by him and he is known by all the driving places. This place is horrible.

Terrible! Over two hour wait to take a permit-2nd time coming back. How is it that in this day and time you can’t make an appt in advance! 8 computers to test on and only one person being able to test at a time! Insane! It. SeT to sit in and bathroom filthy too!

I ready many bad reviews about this place BUT I’m so thankful that I went at this motor vehicle! The guy how took my test was so friendly and so nice that make me feel not nervous at all! I was so excited and happy that I forgot to ask his name (my bad) but was a skinny friendly guy that I will never forget! Nice people at the counter and don’t have nothing bad to say about it just so thankful to be on the right place with Amazing people!

Has a lady at the reception just to give you a ticket even though there is a kiosks. After waiting 123 minutes. At the counter i instructed to fill up a form which at least took 10 min. I could have fill up while during that 123 minutes. This people has no idea how to get job done faster. Highly recommend to go for six sigma training.
