Philadelphia Cycle Center reviews
32Just stopped by to look at some bikes. Seemed low on inventory when i was there in June 2021. People are saying restrictions from. China due to covid are delaying inventory to car & motorcycle dealers in the US.
Dealerships, flat out are the one business I hate more then any other so expect honesty here. I've never worked with a vehicle dealer that I didn't want to punch and I'm no youngster. All that being said.
My visit was actually fun, good enough that I didn't just get the motorcycle I came in for, we got a second one on the spot. The place was hopping and our sales rep (Vince) whom I highly recommend, was juggling three sales plus paperwork and still made us feel like we were his only clients. Now understand the first bike was lined up so he didn't have to spend any time upselling. It was his great attitude that was the deciding factor in buying the second one. It wasn't an all day event either, I had time to kick some tires, look at some gear, and get some more information on other things but that was about it. The paperwork took a few minutes and I even got some add-ons and scheduled delivery.
Remember a few things before going to any dealership. 1. Do your homework ahead of time, know what you want and what you can afford. 2. Pull your free annual credit report so you know the middle score of the three. Experian is just a garbage number. 3. Have your down payment and insurance information. 4. Make an appointment and tell the dealer what you want and the above information.
Finally, remember this is not playtime. If you don't have the money or don't intend to buy on the spot be honest so the dealer can help other buyers and I guarantee will respect you and still take the time to answer your questions.
Spend your Money right Here. And ask for Big Vince. And then juan will take care of you. I am in my Bag For Real
Thank you. Philadelphia Cycle Center
It is what it is it's a motorcycle shop. Not too good on service. What two different quads from them and had problems when I try going back for service or questions about it got to run around,
Had a great experience and it was my first time there. The service advisor ralph was very professional with customer service and gave me every details on the job that was done. Definitely recommend to anyone. And thanks to the tech also who work on my bike very friendly.
This place has it down when it comes to service. While many other motorcycle shops are backed up for weeks.this place operates on a 1st come 1st served basis. That means waiting for a few hours (at most) vs waiting a few weeks. The prices are fair, the service is good. What more do you need? I feel comfortable recommending these guys and will be taking my bike here for service going forward
We were looking to purchase two bikes. We basically knew the two we wanted. When we walked in we barely received a hello. For those that care, none of the employees were wearing masks and they didn't require their customers to wear them (we kept ours on anyway). When we sat down to work on financing so we could test ride and hopefully walk out with the bikes we were looking for, Juan seemed annoyed by us. He was short, unfriendly, and kept answering the phone every two seconds.
When we tried to negotiate the $1k markup for freight (since Kawasaki has it listed at $410) he basically laughed at us. We ended up leaving and going over to NJ where we were met with great service and ended up with two bikes we love.
If I am going to spend that kind of money I would at least like to feel good about the people I am buying it from and be treated with some basic customer service. I don't think you will find that here.
There's a young lady that works there very respectful very professional but you have the owner and the only son both of them are very disrespectful I do not recommend anyone going to Cycle Center
The staff here is VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SUPER FRIENDLY, I’ve got my slingshot serviced here, My GSX-R 600 and my 2006 LTZ-400 was brought back to life after sitting for so long by them!
Nothing but good things to say about them.
If you need a new bike, parts, or service this is the best place to go.
I’d give them 6 stars If I could.
Will give them a call sold me a real real bad loan for a 250r Honda! Be careful guys! And it was the manager who sold me the bike!
THEY ARE NON EDUCATED PEOPLE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
It's a good place, decent customer service.prices are a little high but they have pretty much whatever you need and they look out whenever they can on prices, all in all I enjoy my experience when I go therefore the most part and I would recommend going if u need a little work done or wanna get some necessities etc
Got there on a very cold Saturday morning before opening. Owner-Vince let me in before 9 so I don’t have to stand outside and freeze my butt off. The tech- Carmine pulled the nail out and called me to the back to show exactly where it was, soaped up the puncture and took psi reading to ensure it wasn’t leaking. Peace of mind riding on 2 tires is worth a million bucks but these guys didn’t take a single $1. Grade A crew, go out of their way to take care of customers and never looking to rip you off. Bought this 2019 GoldWing barely 6 month ago from them. Straight forward and honest transaction, no number games, no hidden fees. Sales guy at that place is one of the most efficient and straight forward sales people I’ve ever dealt with in all my bike and car purchases past 25 years.
Staff are not very welcoming, and management acts as if you need them, instead of the other way around - they're not the only motorcycle store/shop in the region. The fact that you begin to make money, shouldn't cause you to begin to treat your customers as if they are now beneath you - we caused you to be where you are, financially.
DO NOT GO HERE! So this was the worst experience i have ever had with a cycle center.they broke my engine, made me pay for it.so i did two months later something is wrong with my engine again n they say i need to buy a new one.they have inexperienced mechanics working on your bike and when something goes wrong there not to blame
The cook out, live music, slingshots and custom motorcycles were awesome. Looking forward to next years event.
Vince Sr.is a good friend of mine
Vince Jr always treats us great. We hope that Bob has a speedy recovery as he is greatly missed. Ed, Eddie and Max.
Over priced! I called for a part for a bike and they charged 230.00 and checked Amazon and got it for 38.00.
Ive done business with them with my last 3 bikes and they do take a lil long but i never have any problems when i get them back.alot of people go to them so guess thats the reason they take a lil longer than other shops.but your problem will be gone once they fix it.
Went in today to buy a tank protector and Ram mount for my bike. They had both in stock and even installed on the spot. Service guy (Ralph P.) didn't charge me a penny for the install. Overall experience was good.
My first time here with my new bike. Ralph P, the shop's service manager, was extremely welcoming and answered all questions I had. I would highly recommend to come here for your service needs. Thanks so much to Ralph & PCC!
