Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar York reviews
23Busssyyy. We were smooshed right near another table. And a lady took the booth we were supposed to get. Very troublesome.amazing sandwiches although. Very big and filling.
Ate there for the first time with my wife. Got wings for an appetizer and they were quite good. I got a Rubin sandwich, and it was disgusting, they use coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. The meat was so bland. My wife got a chicken Gyro, she said it was ok but had no flavor. Looking at the items on the menu, all of their sandwiches they put French fries on them. Well it was a lesson learned. I went out of my comfort zone to try something new. I definitely will not be eating there ever again. The only thing we ordered that was worth eating was the wings. I'm not the type to get up and leave, I did not complain to our waitress, we ate, paid our bill, tipped our waitress and parted ways with the restaurant. If you like extremely bland food then this is the place for you. But I will not be recommending this place to anyone. We visited the York, Pa location on Queen Street next to Rt 83. The place was not the cleanest either. Place had maybe 6 patrons at the time, no one was at the hostess stand to seat us, the bartender had to leave her post to seat us and also had to wipe down our table before we could sit in our booth. Passing other tables on the way, they were dirty with other customers left overs from thier meals. Seen 4 waitresses working, chatting up one another when there were dirty tables that could habe been getting cleaned up. The floor was sticky when walking. My wife said the bathroom was a mess. This place was definitely a little on the disorganised side. Good luck to those who visit next. I myself will not be visiting ever again. Our waitress and the bartender were friendly though.
Good food, decent atmosphere. Could offer a couple more 'normal' Primanti sandwich options, like an itialian.
