24Terrible internet service and they won't answer the phone after waiting on hold for 40 minutes.
Very very very very EXPENSIVE. You just pay a bill and in 2 weeks you get another bill for more money. WAY TOOOOOO EXPENSIVE! THEY ARE OUT OF THEIR MINDS! DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU!
My experience with rcn has been the worse I was told I would be on 250 mbps and it was never running at that it's all a lie to get you to pay for service They are not rendering I call to discuss the matter and I'm put on hold for over 10 minutes 15 minutes The call drops no one considers calling you back then when you call back and try to get through to somebody with a gentleman has a discussion with you on the phone because he feels he can do that That's their customer service so they rather have you terminate your service than help you keep it as a loyal customer and always paid my bill You would think that they would try to keep you but no that's not what they do They have very poor service and horrible customer service They did nothing to try to keep me with RCN
This is where you go to return a router (me) or to solve billing problem (others). Well managed space under current covid guidelines
RCN continues to disappoint. I've had their service for many years and the experience repeats every other year: price jumps, contact RCN, RCN says they can't do anything. Existing customers who keep the lights on should be treated fairly and given fair pricing. Right now, new customers sign up for $37/yr, while existing customers pay $70+/mo.
Horrible! They raised my bill $70 over the past 3 months! When I called about it, all I got was attitude and rude answers from the customer service rep! You would think that they would have some kind of loyalty to their customers. I was a customer for 5+ years! Paid my bill on time, in full every month! They just don't care!
I went to the office and it’s closed while it’s advertised as open. I need to switch out my old internet boxes for new updated ones but I can’t get into the store. But when you call customer service you have to pay $50 technicians fee for them to come to your home. How is it the customer fault that the main store is closed then want to charge me $50.
I had no problems with rcn while having them. Prices goes up when your promotion is over but they always have another promotion. WiFi gets a little spotty even when it’s only 1 feet away, that’s why I wanted to update my outdated boxes but seems that I can’t do that without paying a fee
Really unhappy, my bill went up 40 something dollars since last month, we have cable and internet services, but half the cable channels we don't even get and the Wi-Fi is always having problems, after seeing our bill we had the cable disconnected, but just for Internet our bill is still $165 a month, so not worth it.there's got to be a company out there who has better pricing on their internet services.
We where with RCN for 9 years. I have nothing but things to say about them. We only had problems with internet & cable problems. Not only that they would raise prices 2 times a year. We would have left this cable service but didn’t have a choice because of where we live. Once the new cable company came through we switched. Even though the pandemic they where NOT willing to help at all. They are the worse company to deal with!
Customer service department needs to update their staff not friendly not nice kind of cold and rude would it kill them if they smiled I don't think so some places Lac customer service and unfortunately RCN one of them
Nothing like paying 4 wwe summerslam n TiVo box reboots 4 times. Totally embarassing. Have people over to watch that chip in n bring food n we spend more time watching tivo signup page than wwe. N spare me the sunshine retort. Totally deducting summerslam charge from my bill
This is the best internet provider in Lehigh Valley, as far as speed and price. I wish they offered more discounts to long term customers, the price does increase over time. They also have no contracts which is nice, but with limited competition they continue to raise internet pricing. I have had some issues with them, but the service and repair team arrived within their 2 hour window and fixed the issues.
I can not speak for their other offerings as I only have internet from them.
Try having a conversation with these guys, they lie every time i have to call about anything. When you have 2 options for getting internet no one is interested in helping at all because they'll get paid either way
Worse internet provider in bethlehem pa area, it takes forever to download or upload, I'm looking for a different provider, i never had this problems in California or nj with other providers
It's unfortunate their internet service is so inconsistent because they have great rates.but I guess you get what you pay for. If you choose them as a provider just know that your internet will go in and out throughtout the day.
My bill continues to get higher every few months. You would think customers who stay with a cable company for 20+ years would get breaks! I'm looking in to other options for a cable provider.
Service has been very consistent but my bill has climbed from 29.95 to 65.00 a month. Looking for cheaper options
Horrible Service overall, i had the One gig internet Service And never got Those speed. They continúe to Make excuses stating that The conecction to their server was 900 mbps but to other servers the max I ever receive of the back of my modem was 420 mbps
You might as well hook a potato with some wires to your house and then shoot your self in the foot
Upgraded to 1gb internet, speeds are only going to 500. Called customer support the said a tech will come to swap the cheap brand modem and give me a arris one. No on showed I called again and spoke to a women named Margaret in tech support she was very disrespectful and told me that I cannot have someone come out. She told me that i was selfish because the techs have 100's of customers to see. And stated i cant have an appointment until next week
