Guy came and installed it didn't even make sure it was up and running. Internet speeds for a gig are so expensive we had to downgrade. Now our internet buffers 100% of the time and goes down every so often. Making it unusable. There aren't many options in Wilkes-Barre for internet. This is really frustrating. I miss XFINITY.

Worst internet service I've ever had. Goes down every single day for at least 30 minutes. Buffers all the time. They raise the price in January with no choice. As soon as another alternative becomes available I'm gone. Customer service is terrible. They never fix the prob
em. Can't even stream YouTube it bumpconstantly dial up with faster why would I call customer s they came in and rewired our whole entire building. A few days later my service was slow I checked the connection in the wall and it was loose. That means the whole entire building is loose. They're not going to fix the problemervice you never fix the problem?

My internet kept dropping and they fixed it the next day. Would give 5 stars if the internet prices weren't so high. $100 for 100mbps is just ridiculous.

I signed up for internet service in sat. The tech came out to install service. He didn’t bother to make sure internet was up and running. When he arrived he was in a rush he said everything was working. Once he left I went to sign on for work no internet service. Not only did I miss work for four days I couldn’t submit my homework assignments. I called tech support they didn’t have the tech number for him to come back and fix the problem I called 30 minutes after he left. I had to wait four days to speak to someone at customer service because of the holiday weekend. It is now Tuesday let’s see what they have to say. Let’s just say I will be canceling my service. Everyone seemed so unconcerned.

Increased the price again and still does nothing but buffer. They charge for 50 download speed what everyone else charges for 100 to 200. Thats because they are the only one in Wilkes barre so we don't have a choice.

Very expensive for what it has to offer, I will not hesitate to switch when comcast comes in Wilkes Barre, so will everyone.

Prices are outrageous, especially their 1Gig service, which also happens to have a questionable upload speed cap. Really hurting those working from home during the pandemic. Service is fairly reliable though, outside some questionable times at night after 10pm. The prices are horrible compared to other providers who of course are blocked from entering the area, thus the monopoly to charge what they do. Maybe low orbit satellite and home LTE/5G will change this.

The only worst part of this company is the old lady who’s a representative for the Wilkes barre location. Refuses to install new lines when requested due to bandwidth issues and acts like she knows her stuff just because she works for an ISP company. She needs to be fired or put a stop upon customers requests who knows their stuff.

I have been a customer of Service Electric Cable TV Inc for several years and have been very pleased with their service. Everyone I have spoken to at their office, plus the tech guys who have come to my home to install the cable tv and landline phone, have all been very professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend Service Electric to everyone!

Avoid doing business with Service Electric. Service is flakey, reps are incredibly hard to get ahold of, and no one ever takes responsibility for outages in the area.

If you have them there customer service sucks if you pay your bill they will still come an cut you off from the line if you call an they see they made a mistake no one try’s to fix it they give the run around this is not a good company

I can't speak for their TV service as I've never had it, but I have had their internet service for over 8 years. In that 8+ years, I think it's gone down a total of maybe 6 times and the outage was maybe 2-3 hours at most. I do speed tests from time to time and I always get very, very close to what I am paying for. If you ever have a tech support problem, talk to Dan. He is very helpful and a super nice guy.

The worst company I ever had to deal with. Waited 30 minutes for somebody to answer my call to be assisted with changes I made to my account last week. They still never changed my service. Never answered and this is an ongoing issue with this company. Avoid at all cost. At this point how is this company even still running.unbelievable.

Lazy and worthless customer service, slow internet speeds, and insane prices. Too bad they have monopolized this area. Much rather prefer Xfinity.

Good service, never had any problems. Sometimes during bad weather it might go out for 5 seconds or so that's it. Any services outside of New York State or any "Major" City you have to expect won't be top notch! Including food, shopping and health care, etc.

Customer service is great.
Price wise for same amount of channels would be cheaper to go with a satellite.

Worst provider EVER. Highly recommend you avoid this place. Get a hotspot instead and do not waste time, money and frustration with this "service. "

I also gave this company 1 because it don't allow you to rate it 0. I switch to dish with in the moth so they wouldn't charge me after the cancellation.you get premium and regular channel for the price they charge you at service electric and I have 4 tv set up with recording.and the customer service are disrespectful and rude
