If I could I’d give it a negative 5 stars. Absolutely dislike this cable company! Comcast is 1000% better. Constantly having to reset if you want to watch anything. The internet constantly goes out. Wish there was a choice to have Comcast here. Every time you call custom service they have no remorse for the issues. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Have SECV for internet only and for me it's mostly reliable, I get the speed I pay for, and the price is competitive. Their online and phone Customer Service and Support has always been good, fast, and friendly. Same goes for the store folks. Not much more I can ask for, really. Could it be cheaper? Sure but it's kind of a necessity anymore so all I can ask is that I get what I pay for. For me SECV does that.

Connectivity is horrible, constantly waiting is a daily occurrence; we wish there was another choice because this isn't working!

Down for the second time in one month. Can’t wait for fios.calling the Borough to see when this abysmal contract ends also going to fight to have it nullified.

No issues at all. Have 300MBPS internet and phone. Speed test is exactly where it needs to be at anytime if the day. Phone is crystal clear. They are actively upgrading the system so it’s good to see continued investment to deliver fast and reliable services. They put all new lines underground for me and my neighbors at no cost to us. Locally owned and operated.

Horrible if I could have gave them 0 stars I would have. They are a monopoly and they know it something needs to be done. Customer service is just flat out rude. It’s a shame we’re forced to use them. Only alternative is dish and that’s worse smh.

Criminals. Internet cuts out way too much, advertised speeds are seldom achieved. Options in area are limited so they take advantage of their customers with poor service.

Garbage company they disconnect the internet whenever they feel like it, guess what service electric im not gonna pay half of next months bill when I can't even use the 1000Mbps speed that I pay $150 a month for

I had my cable Install months ago when the techs were not coming in he handed me the Box in my parking lot now last month I ask for someone to come and bring me cable wire because I cable wire streaming through the middle my living Room and your company had the audacity to charge me $35 if I didn't live where I lived I wouldn't even have any for cable service You overcharge and entice people with the courtesy channels that I no longer have and cannot afford your company stinks

A Hee-haw/ Petticoat Junction company trying to survive in the real world. I would drop them in a second if I had an option. Bills arrive on time. The first option when you call them is how to pay your bill, not how they can help you. Nice priorities there, guys. Someday legislation will come along to knock these frogs off their Gilded lily pad.

I have had decent interactions with Cablevision in the past, but lately I’ve honestly just had it. I feel like we have to constantly follow up with these guys and then we don’t really get any clear answers anyway. While they are one of the very limited options in the area, I’ve contacted Fios to prioritize getting their service built up in our area. I often rally for the little guy— but my Mom’s service has been so inconsistent. The email gets so much junk despite adding recommended filters, we have had issues with her phone, and we recently got rid of cable because it’s insanely expensive. I live in a city and pay for upgraded internet at $49/mo. My Mom— who barely uses the internet and her landline pays $108/mo. This is an improvement from the $197 when she had cable as well. I feel like we are being taken advantage of, especially when Service Electric isn’t following through on their promises. My Mom now lives alone and during the pandemic, we need to make sure she has reliable working services so we can keep her company. It’s been a true rollercoaster with Service Electric unfortunately meaning, as soon as we are able to switch, we will be doing so.

Prices are way to high inconsistent speeds and service. They are a monopoly in this area as comcast and Verizon are not allowed in birdsboro territory.there is no competition.

Writing this review while my service electric cable is down again. Even when this cable service is up and running it is riddled with packet loss and instability. Zero other options for cable service so service electric will never improve. They take $100 every month for internet alone.

When i moved into this area i asked about cable for the internet, and i was told it was not here yet.and the girl i talked to told me that I would be put on a wait list.the cable is here and I'm still waiting.it's only been 17 yrs! I posted this one time before and a person and said that they were sorry about this, and if I still wanted the internet. I told him I rather get Comcast then your internet, cause customer service SUCK!

Worst customer service and terrible outdated equipment. I recently moved to this area and thought Comcast was the worst. I am very happy to cancel service and not waste my money on the worst customer service

I couldn't access my voice messages after some kind of upgrade on their part. 10 phone calls for help and three days now. My answer to the problem is to buy an answering machine because they can't fix it. Unbelievable!

Because I live in Service Electric Township otherwise known as Exeter I am stuck with this sorry excuse of a company. I've never dealt with worse customer service. I am at the point now where I actually have to scream and yell at them on the phone just to do something as simple as reset my modem. Seriously considering moving just so I don't have to deal with this company.

They are expensive and the office staff at the customer service department are stupid and have a bad attitude. Get Direct TV instead you'll be glad you did. They are so dumb.

The tv picture dissapeared last night and when I called cutomer service, this morning the woman asked for my phone number which I gave her She then says I DON'T SEE YOUR NAME ON ANY ACCOUNT! I responded by saying of course not I am notba account holder.i am staying at the cottages just about miles up the highway from you
Please send a repairman to fix the problem. She then did a test from her office and said a box needs to be replaced. I said I cant go there today I am busy so please have the repairman give it to me She then fakingly said Sorrrrrrrry. The policy holder must pick it up We CAN'T LET YOU TAKE IT! I I was now furious and said Yes you can let me get the box. You just dont want to help because nobody is paying you this time
Thank god I dont have you as my cable carrier any more your prices are highest in cable business and cutomer service is pitifull so no cable for me till friday or saturday when the owner gets back.

If you are thinking about getting Service electric please stay away it's a rip off!
They don't even deserve one star, they are the WORST EVER, I used to have comcast but because I move I had to change cable since comcast don't service my area.
Service electric charge me more than what I used to pay comcast, they are not even as great or better, mind you I use to talk to my remote when I had comcast.
Service electric is stuck in the 2000's when you click on their guide button you can barely understand what's going on your tv screen and you can only record one show at a time, the internet goes on and off every other day and their customer service SUCKS.
