South Park

We went to a Dance Recital. It was held outdoors. A tent was available with seating/chairs. Many Family members & friends of the students attended. Not everyone chose to sit.
Many stood & watched from all sides of the tent. It was DELIGHTFUL!

I hike in south park almost everyday
It is a fantastic place, a criss cross of paths shared by all.a must see is the vale of cashmere, may also get to the montour trail there, notice the solar lights they are putting up, and the long planned upgrade of the cascades by Miller house, covered coves with grills and tables, grass, playgrounds, dog park, etc

Love to play pickleball and there are more and more players wanting to play. The county needs to put some funds toward improvement.

There are not much to see. If you are new to the area. You might want to take the trails. There are no maps. The trails are not marked either.

This is a beautiful place but I could swear I've seen a giant robot with the likeness of Barbara Streisand around. I wonder if it's just me.

Went to BMX Racetrack. Very strict on covid 19 regulations. Great that the kids can still compete. Safe distance for viewers. Only one parent per child. Go racers!

A group of ladies who like to knit, under a pavillion 6 feet from each other. Enjoying the weather, and enjoying conversations.

South Park is always a fun place to go around and explore in, by yourself or with friends. They have natural trails, walking paths, streams, creeks, playgrounds, fields, pavilions, etc which are always clean and fun to use.

I love South Park. I just wish I lived closer so I could spend more time there. The fam and I love going on hikes on the back Trails.there's plenty of playgrounds and if you have a mountain bike for some trails to ride on as well.

I love having the park so close to my house. Tons of playgrounds, picnic pavilions, and other things to do.

I've lived in the South Hills for most of my life. While I've frequented South Park for years, it's only been the past few years that it's dawned in me how lucky I am to live in such close proximity to such a nice park. I have a daughter now that I regularly take to the playgrounds here. I've had family portraits taken here. I run the trails regularly. I take my dog to the dog parks. South Park is great.

Only visited the game preserve and two kids parks. Not bad, pretty nice. Need some water fountains that work, need more shade at the kids parks as the slides get too hot. A little mister or sprinkler would be nice for the kids.

There is a nice little fitness trail that my friends and i did and there is also a decent sized loop for running which a cross team looked like it was practicing on for little kids.

Enjoyed my day in the park and also enjoyed seeing a beautiful Blue fire truck go by. The driver and fireman were very friendly and waved to me and my family!

A great park for all types of activity. Also beautiful groves for picnics or just a get together with friends. A number of play areas for children with brand new play equipment. New ice skating rink that will also accommodate youth hockey. A very nice bicycle riding park.

Great place for taking long walks, hiking or even have a fun weekend picnic.
Outdoor play ground for young kids available throughout the park.
Lots of Trails also available, great mountain biking routes which offers a lot of up and down hill paths throughout the woods.
During summer it can be humid and full of bugs so have bug spray and a lot of water!

Love this park! Great walking trails! Animal preserve. Beautiful scenery. Dog park.free concerts on friday nights

The playgrounds themselves are great, but there needs to be more shade and benches for adults at the larger play areas.

This is a beautiful park. It is very well taken care of. Really nice children's play areas. The main road through the park has a walking path from one end to the other. Lots of nice groves to reserve for picnics.

Many things to do at this park. All of the playgrounds are updated. Great paths with exercise equipment. Love the duck pond and table checkers. Great for family outings and nature walks for berry picking.
