Tapas On Main

Fantastic food every time I've been here, though I've only had their tapas. (Business traveler from out of state.) Last time our group was there for happy hour we ordered every single tapa (at least one) on the menu and made it a dinner. All were great, some were even sublime! Sangria was Ok, maybe not great, but good enough. We always had good and friendly service!

Arrived at 630 for our reservation for two and were told that we would have to wait to be seated. We understood, the restaurant was busy and they were behind schedule. We were seated about ten minutes later in a dark room in the back. After reviewing the menus for some time, we realized that we still had not been approached by a server. When she finally arrived, she first addressed the table next to us in a way that seemed as though she was pushing them out the door. They had just received food and she was already trying to box it up for them. She then addressed us and apologized for the delay. We again understood and gave her our drink order before she disappeared again. 20 more minutes pass at this point, no drinks had arrived and no further order was taken. We decided at this point to leave and go to another restaurant in the area. I would highly recommend avoiding this spot.

Not sure if management has changed, but the calamari was previously frozen, prior to over cooking. Over priced! $16.00 was not the problem, food wasn't worth it and customer service was okay! The people behind the bar acted like they didn't want to serve you.

Food and service were great once we were seated. However, my party of 3 was seated 45 minutes after our reservation at a table for 2 by a hostess with an attitude and an eye-rolling problem.

If you are debating if you should dine here based on the mixed reviews, please take this as a sign to not, especially if you value timeliness and service. We had reservations for 6: 30 on a Sunday night and were not seated until 6: 40. By the time 7pm hit, we still had not received our drinks. I cannot say our experience improved there after. Your money would be better spent somewhere else.

I found this place on accident, while looking up what the word "Tapas" means. Which was apparently a spanish term for shareable plates. My family is a big proponent in sharing their food with each other. And for the price of the sharables I would say they were really well done.

Empanadas were good. I admit there not the best I've had. Chicken was a little dry.

Then we tried the frys with truffel oil. The frys were soggy, certainly not my cup of tea. But if you enjoy that.the flavor was earthy and tastey. The sauce that came with the fries was certainly needed.

Next we had the shrimp flatbread. Everything from the crispy flatbread, to the cut up shrimp, to the salt level of the dish was perfect. Would certainly get again.

Lastly we had the "tierra" Paella. We were conflicted about this one. Good flavor profile. But the big problem was the most of the meat. Chorizo was good. But the chicken and steak were dry and if I may be so bold, without any flavor. It seemed that they were trying to rely on the rice to flavor their meat, but if you have huge chunks of meat in the dish, some bites are not going to be enough to keep an under seasoned piece of meat tasty. Everything else about the dish was very well done.

This is what stopped it from getting 5 stars in my opinion. Soggy fries are my issue and personal dislike, but the other two with me loved them. However we all had the same opinion on the Paella.

Service was kind. Although from the two employees that we talked to. One admited they didnt eat there, so they could answer us what was good. Even though I appreciate the honesty. You should never tell a customer you dont eat at a place you work. The insinuations from that is not going to be very well received. The other to help us, was intentive, friendly, and all around pleasent. She gave lots of infotmation about their most popular dishes. She had only been there for 3 months if I recall. So I was pretty impressed by her knowleadge.

All in all. I would say I was satisfied. Even with some of the problems with the food, you could tell they were fresh ingredients, with little to no preservatives. I would go again to try more things. I personally think its worth the try.

We went on a Wednesday evening for a quick bite to eat, and I was surprised by how many people there were in the restaurant. But we were still seated quickly.
We ordered some empanadas, which were brought out promptly and were so, so delicious.
Our server was kind and pleasant. It was an excellent experience.

Good atmosphere, great drinks/sangrias. Food is left to be desired. The sharing portions are small. The steaks are always tough so it seems like a low quality cut of meat.

Everything on the Tapas menu is delicious. The outdoor dining and service were also very good.

Service was very slow but our server, who was the bartender, was awesome and very kind and friendly. The fries were good but everything else we ordered was just ok. The flourless cake was like chocolate pudding.

Excellent tapas bar, wonderful atmosphere, great food, excellent customer service and fair drinks and prices. When I went on a Saturday night they had a live music.

As first-timers, we were very impressed with the service and quality of our order. We ordered Gambas al Ajillo, Scallops, and flan. Gregorio C.helped us navigate the menu, and for that, we were appreciative. The food was excellent and as it turned out a perfect lunch.

Busy evening but service was good. Had the vegetatian paella which was quite good and a great glass of sangria.

Fantastic food and drinks in a great atmosphere. Reasonably priced for the quality of food that you get. House made sangria is excellent as well.

It was ok! The food was generally delicious but the corn cake was definitely not a “cake” and not a share size. The serve was a little bit not in the situation through the whole meal. But the empanadas were really good.

Love that you can order from both Tapas and Cachette's menus. Every bite was delicious!
Don't miss the pork meatballs or the blue cheese stuffed bacon-wrapped dates!

I ordered takeout online.when i got there no host was at the front and the bartender said nothing to me.after about 5-10 minutes of waiting a host finally comes to the front.i tell her i have an online order and she tells me to ask the bartender.the bartender had gone to the back 2 minutes prior though so i waited even longer for her to come back.then i finally got my food.the food was good but the service was incredibly disappointing.i work as a host myself and no person should be left alone for any longer than 1 minute.

Well, I don't know how else to say it but here it is: I friggin' love this place.

The food is absurdly good. Like. For real. I end up ordering entirely too much because I just have to have some of everything.

I chase it down with some very nice Sangria and then I walk away smiling. Because it is THAT good.

Staff is awesome. Food is awesome. Everything is awesome

Go. Eat. Enjoy.

Every time I go staff is extremely friendly and always goes out of their way to accommodate my young children (lunches and off hrs)
