The Hershey Story Museum reviews
28Fun chocolate experience making chocolate bars. The museum is a little dry though especially for kids.
Wonderful walk through of the history of Mr and Mrs Hersey. They failed many times but he never gave up and his legacy through this museum showcase, the hotel, theme park and the entire city I see it a true testament to the amazing, giving couple. We're glad we were able to visit this iconic American town
If you want to learn about a good business man who was willing to take risks and who had a unique vision, this is the place to go. Mr. Hershey was that and more. Great place to take your family. I wish I could have met the man instead of seeing his legacy.
We had a great time and tha Hershey Museum. Kids love it the idea of the personalize tours and they actually want to sit down to watch the mini movies or videos explaining the history and others. I may want to comeback for the Hershey Lab I think would love that very much.
A genuinely fantastic exhibit about the famous Milton Bradley. The exhibit mainly details his upbringing, history and philanthropic exploits. The exhibit itself is very well done and interesting. A must see for any meusem goers in the Hershey area.
It was kept well clean, and had a good informative atmosphere. You could interact with a lot of parts. The staff was friendly and helpful. It did have some dull parts but overall was a good experience.
IT WAS AWESOME! We made our own chocolate bars and tried the chocolate milk from other places around the world.
It was 100% Hershey company related products. No local souvenirs (yes, I know the whole town exists because if the company). Want a Reese's t-shirt or kiss ornament? You're good to go.
EXTREMELY BUSY PLACE! If you don't like crowds DON'T come! Obviously good chocolate! Bought the bundle of 4 events, which entitles you to free parking! Check it out!
Made the history of the Hershey company fairly concise and easy to understand. Very interesting and interactive
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The chocolates were wonderful. As of 8/2018 everything in Tastings is gluten free. There is plenty of parking.
We paid$75 (3adult, 1child) to do the museum and the chocolate lab. The museum was ok, smaller than we thought. The chocolate lab was also ok. We made a small piece of chocolate. The decoration for the chocolate bar was graham crackers and salt. Not what I thought it would be.
The museum epitomises the town. The whole town has bought into the mystique. From Kisses on the lamposts to the smell of chocolate that permeates the air. Joy is their principal product. Have fun!
Disappointed, why do you have to pay admission to view the history of a multi million dollar company in a town that exists only due to Mr Hershey's invention? Museum tour should be free. I completely understand charging for the other things.
This was our first visit, but it won't be our last! Great breakfast menu, great food, excellent service. An all around enjoyable experience.
You can see everything that the Power That Be tore down! To bad they didn't leave it alone then they wouldn't have to revitalize. Hershey Died when they tore the Factory down. May there be a slice of HELL for those responsible! This is Maryann's husband. Hershey is THE PERFECT example of how to destroy a town.
Great history lesson not only about the Chocolate Factory that the man himself the Creator to town that was family-friendly.
A really fun experience for a family! Plenty of interactive videos and hands on learning activities.
Stop by and learn about the "sweet" story behind the chocolate. Fun activities like the chocolate lab and sampling bar are great but have separate fees. The story of Hershey is one of America's great success stories. Check it out
