The Hershey Story Museum reviews
28 Loved the Hershey Story Museum and the Chocolate Lab. The Chocolate Lab associates were informative and friendly. We enjoyed making our own chocolate smores bar and learning all about chocolate from the cacao fruit, all the way to the store. But the $12.50 to make a single chocolate bar was a bit high and could be $8 to $10.
The museum upstairs was well presented and easy to navigate, with quite a few interactive stations. The employees were nice and friendly.
Friendly and informative. Some thing were interactive. It is small. That can be good, if you are pressed for time. It can be bad if you are not pressed for time and you want more info!
I wasnt happy with this at all. It was expensive for just 1 floor exhibits. You can go to Hershey world and get the same information for free. Just saying. We went to coca cola in ATLANTA that was impressive for the money. And I think if the museum was part of the world it would be good. But for a history guru I was impressed with the information for the price
Great time. They play a game with the kids for little prizes. They have to read the walls which has the history of Milton Hershey. So fun history lesson. Then we learned the history of chocolate and made our own candy bars. Very nice and enjoyable. A must when you visit Hershey.
Very informative, kids had a lot of fun but with the passport. The staff was very friendly and had us sign up for the membership as it ended up being cheaper than without for our family of 7.
Really nice facility but very pricey just to learn the history of a business at $18 per adult and $15 per child. There is a gift shop, cafe and really nice restrooms as well as class to make chocolate. The town is also pretty nice to sightsee and walk around.
We came because of a groupon and Im glad we did! The hershey story really is intriguing. We did the chocolate tasting as well and that was really neat!
Self paced museum tour was enjoyable and interesting. All age groups enjoyed it! The full flight tasting was great, the ladies running it were very nice and accommodating. The kids (13 & 11) really enjoyed the chocolate lab WITHOUT mom and dad. The ONLY DOWNSIDE we saw was the gift shop is a disappointment. There isn't anything in there that cannot be purchased elsewhere and nothing says you've been there.this is remedied by taking plenty of pictures!
