Tom's Dim Sum reviews
28Great soup dumplings! So yummy and reasonably priced meal. Lots to choose from and large portions to share.
I haven't had soup-filled dumplings of this quality since visiting Beijing. Way above what I was expecting, prices are really decent, BYOB.
3 stars only because they doesn't sell alcohol. A cold Asian beer would have complimented everything. The food was hot and fresh. It was very loud, so it was hard to hear the waitress's explanation of the menu.
Whole family loved it. We ordered about six different types of dumplings, and they were all great. Homemade noodles were great (I had the shrimp). Everyone loved their entree. We've had sesame chicken at other restaurants, this was the best we had. Reasonably priced.
I enjoyed it. Very small place, but in a good location. Wish I had known that they took cards ($15 min). I had the crystal shrimp dumplings and wonton soup and found them appealing. The best points are the price and the quality of the staff (especially the owner/manager).
Didn't like the food. Ordered a chicken with garlic sauce, which you expect to be anything but sweet. But this dish was so sweet that it seemed more like chicken with a sweet jam. I not that picky about my food but this one was so sweet it was head for me to finish the dish. Can't tell about the other dishes, but this one was disappointing.
Great hot and sour soup, and spicy crispy shrimp (the peppers are crispy too and not too spicy at all.)
No wait for lunch at 1200 on a Sunday. Menu in English was helpful for ordering. Pictures of some dishes. Really good dumplings. Reasonable prices. Staff recommended when to stop ordering because it would be too much food, which was nice. Nice atmosphere and clean.
