Adopted a dog from the shelter. Went for a "free" visit where they debated with me whether or not a fecal test was included even though they told me to bring a sample. It was something I felt had to be done as I saw what I believed to be a worm in his poop. They said it was a negative test result. As I didn't feel comfortable, I called another local animal hospital with amazing reviews to have my dog rechecked. Turns out he has roundworm! Thank god I trusted my instincts because my dog was infected. Don't ever trust them with your pet!

Brought our cat in. After being hit on Apple Street and left to die. They didn't have Doctor on staff? Why.
We had to drive another 20mins to Dickson city. We lost her. Family crushed.

Horrable not a real hospital.
Today Went to this dunmore animal hospital 7am. My dog is having breathing and they refused care and told me to make a apt for two weeks or longer. I can imagine how many dead animals there are because of this issue.

I called has a new client to the area looking for someone to see my new puppy for shots. No one in the area is taking new clients due to covid. They didn’t have anything open until beginning of October which I took but stressed how nervous I was to wait that long and katelyn offered to add me to a wait list in case anyone cancelled. A few hours later katelyn called me cause someone cancelled. It was so great. The tech that came out was so sweet and addressed all my concerns. Not being able to go into the building was a little nerve wracking for a new dog mom but they made me feel very comfortable and kept communicating with me the entire time.

Surprisingly expensive for a VCA, as well as not all VCAs accept the insurance you get from one or another VCA, this one however has great staff though and show so much respect and love for any animal brought in.

Thank you so much for being so helpful and kind with Ladybug. The costs were reasonable and the care was above and beyond expected.

I brought my cat here because I adopted her from a place where she caught fleas. The fleas were relentless. She scratched her neck so bad she got a skin infection. I basically had nothing and didn't want to lose my fur baby
Both Dr. Esopi and Dr. Ramsey were so kind and compassionate.
Even though I did not have the money for the estimated vet bill, Dr. Esopi gave me the things I needed to take care of my Mocha which was donated antibiotics, wound care scrub and saline solution and first flea treatment. I didnt pay a dime.
When a concern came up aboit 730 in the morning. Dr. Ramsey was on call and called me back within 10 minutes!
Although I agree their prices are a bit high, the compassion they had to help me save my furbaby far outweighs the cost and I would definitely recommend going there.
Thank you VCA DUNMORE!

Very upseting experience. Their estimated price for ear infection was over $1100. I ended getting 3 medications to apply myself and with the visit I paid $182. They charged me extra $11 for triming nails because that was not included in the visit, and they charged me extra $15 because they didn’t have the medication they put on my estimate without even telling me. They didn’t even clean my dog’s ear because that costs extra $70-80. What kind of sick bussiness is that? Can’t even imagine if my dog was really sick.

Excellent staff. Excellent vet. Very caring and took time to explain everything with my Malucann cockatoo! Was very compassionate when we had to put her down.

Dr. Falzone is awesome. She is very sweet and seems to care about my pets. She took the out of her schedule to squeeze my boys in on a day I needed. She is also very personable and made me decide to stay with VCA as my vet. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is pricey! I’ve also had so-so experiences with the ancillary staff there.

I am very happy with the care from the vets at this hospital but I am not happy with a girl at the desk who was so rude to someone on the phone. Caitlyn? She was making faces and pulling the phone away from her face. I have never had issues with the service of the vets or staff but I have to wonder how an employee is allowed to act this way in front of customers.

The doctors and nurses seem very nice but the facility is so hot and humid that my moms dog honestly seemed stressed out by it. I mentioned the temperature in the client rooms to the employees and they were very sympathic and got her a bowl of water. I went with them to the back to review some test results and it was even hotter back there! They had fans going but I guess they don’t have air conditioning? Service was fine but I don’t want to support a corporation that treats their employees like that. This is America. There is no need for literal sweatshops.

My dog had an emergency, I couldn't get help from my regular vet's office. I was in a panic, I reached out to VCA Animal Hospital and they told us to come right away, they helped my dog who was in so much pain and I am so grateful for their help. I'm very pleased with the service we got and well will be taking my pet there from now on.thank you Dr. Pk.

Dr. PK overcharges and does not care about the animal. Teh female vet at least cares about my pet. I wish they would fire him

Dr. PK killed my cat on Friday after he botched her original surgery.so maybe don’t listen to anyone talking about how great he is. Everyone else there seems nice and competent but why take the chance

I've been using VCA of Dunmore for a few years now and I love them. Dr. Esopi has been nothing short of wonderful. There is ample parking, onsite grooming services, public restrooms and it is quite easy to get to. They make an effort to accommodate my schedule and honestly, I've never had an issue with getting the care I needed for my cat and dog. Veterinarian care isn't cheap, no matter where we choose to go. So if I'm going to spend money, at least I know I'm getting the best care at VCA.
