Coddington Brewing Company, Middletown RI

I have been going here for about 3 years now. I can satly that the place has seen SIGNIFICANT improvement since then. All the beers are the best they've ever been and now is the best time to go. The food is also excellent, the scallops are a must have while there.

Four of us ate dinner here tonight. Fried whole clams, fish and chips and two baked stuffed sole dinners. All were quite pleased with the meals. Service was friendly and professional. Enjoyable meal on our first visit with friends that have eaten there often. Their comment was, "we've never had a bad meal here". We will be back.

Went for dinner recently, staff was very nice, food was very good, my wife had the Filet Mignon and it was really good.
Beer was all their own brew, which was pretty good, a few other beer choices would have been nice. Otherwise we had a really nice relaxing dinner, no Newport crowds, we parked right in front for free, great local business, we will be back.

I didn’t have any food, but the beer is delicious. If you’re looking for a craft brewery experience, this is not the place (it’s a bar/restaurant). But the beer is good enough to warrant a stop.

Nice looking restaurant, the beer and the pretzels were delicious. The steak was bland as was the soup. The wait staff was courteous when they were there, but had a tendency to disappear for long periods.

Good food. Solid service. Nice environment. Had the Miso Salmon (cooked to perfection, just a little too sweet). Came with fried Spinach - what! It was fabulous! My friend had the Fish and Chips, not a morsel was left. I think he liked it.

Had the teriyaki steak tips w/rice, green beans and a side salad. Steak tips cooked perfectly and I love al dente green beans. Our waitress provided excellent service.

The food was awesome! I had the fish and chips and it was delicious! The beer selection was pretty good and had a selection for all beer drinkers along with a cider on tap. We would definitely go back!

Big servings! Beer is good. Lots of choices for everyone! Bathrooms could be updated but they were clean.

Been visiting this establishment for many years now. Always excellent service good food and great beer. The beers are for the most part English style. So on the lower abv and not as hoppy as the majority of American brews
