Had a great experience in choosing 5401 Chimney Rock. The property is very well kept. Everything is close by like Sam's, Walmart, HEB, and the Galleria! The staff is very friendly and welcoming especially Genn. Definitely recommend living here.

This is by far the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. The common areas are always maintained and the staff is always on point! Genn is very friendly and prompt!

I was seeking an apartment about a month ago. So I stopped by and met Genevieve Gonzales in the leasing office. Genevieve was very pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, just overall great personality.

For the price, this place is hard to beat. We had issues in the beginning with some things, but the recent change in management has been a huge plus. Since a change in management, any issues were addressed. The new property manager, Anabelle, has left an impression on me that this place has many more good changes to come.

They are very professional about about anything they do at front office and with repairs. The mechanics that repair the minor issues that arise are very professional, and respectful, and have always fixed the problem almost immediately. Ive been here two years now and haven’t had a problem.

Do not apply if you are a recent college grad. I am an engineer with a job starting in January 2021 earning more than enough to afford this place comfortably. I only applied here because it was close and I wanted to save as much money as I can. I ended up getting denied because I didn’t have employment history in the past 6 months (full time student), and I didn’t have rental history (I lived in a dorm in college, and at home prior to that). I have a 750+ credit rating, no criminal record not even a speeding ticket, and over $5k in savings. I even offered to pay my entire lease up front and they still denied me. I lost $130 in app fees for nothing. After touring the place, it’s decent enough in the complex and the price is competitive, but the area surrounding it is rough. I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around at night. But it is a budget friendly place near the galleria, and for a young male I decided to look past the flaws and take a chance on it. Wish they did the same to me.

Good Community, Leasing office personnel could use some customer service re-training. But the maintenance staff was truly extraordinary very clean very neat and extremely polite and considerate one of the best experiences I've ever had an apartment complex

Worst living experience. Lived here almost for 4 years and got robbed 3 times and got wheel stolen from my parked car. I complained about the robbery and requested them if they could get some security cameras, instead the staff blamed us for not getting our own camera or security. They try to ignore you if you complain about your problems with appliances. I would never recommend anyone to live here.

Office staff & naintence are doing what they want to do & don't comply with housing program.

Many alternatives, plus no game room and staff was completely disinterested in giving us a tour and I ended up choosing other place.

The room was cute and cozy, but we were uncomfortable because our door didn't have a lock and at one point another guest walked into our room without notice. It was in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown.

I bought a new car so i ask for a permit sticker for my new car since i already pay 40 month for a reserve spot for my old car the leasing agent told me that only one sticker per resident and bascially you cant buy another car living on the property. Since i pay my rent on time and never give the management any issues this is very upsetting to me and i will not be renewing my lease at this apartment complex.

The residential complex loved it and had good workers and good staff but I wish there was a chance for the children to play here. There are four swimming pools if one is taken and children play well

How professional of these people to waive the security deposit when you apply as a move-in incentive, tell you that you owe nothing when you move out after maintenance walked through and stated the apartment was left in great shape, and then suddenly decides to charge you without calling you and lets the charge go to collections. I moved out over 5 years ago and just found out about this "debt". Thankfully I was able to get it removed from my credit report without paying a collector but renters beware. When you move out, get IN WRITING that you don't owe them a dime.

EDIT after manager reply: I previously tried contacting your office many times to resolve this issue to no avail because no one ever called me back or replied to my e-mails. The couple of times someone actually answered the phone, they told me a property manager would get back with me and never did.

This place is fantastic! The staff is great and easy to work with. Joanna is friendly and efficient Yes they tow cars if you DON"T have a permit but it's only because there is limited parking.

Worst apartment complex ever. I only lived here because it’s cheap the chance of me staying here a year is slim to none. There is never a place to park ever. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. I’ve only been here for a week and I hate this place. Fix your parking immediately. Stop with the bs reply of how you’re monitoring the parking when you aren’t. Your parking is garbage and so are your apartments. This place is a waste of money and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
