Always appreciate good Mexican food! Even better when it's nice enough for a good dinner date, but still outstanding food for the price

This restaurant was one of the best I've been to in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Very elegant space, server was very attentive and educated on the menu. The food was good and fulfilling for the lunch I had. However, it wasn't quite up to par with the pricing.

Food and Service are pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Nothing bad to say (other than refried beans are odd, like lime was added), nothing spectacular.

Beautiful atmosphere, this place is beautiful and food and drinks are delicious, just what you expect for the price paid, the service could be improved.

Everything on my plate tasted horrible. My son wouldn't even eat the. All he ate were the chips and ketchup. Never again.

This was an average run of the mill Mexican food place. Nothing wrong with it or exceptional either. Service was good.

A little on the expensive side for Tex Mex but the food is very good and you get pretty good portions.

We had a great experience here. Our waitress was excellent and the food was very good. The restaurant itself is beautiful.

This is not authentic Mexican food or Tex Mex. Lacked flavor and was cold. Their refried beans tasted from a can. Service was good but the waitress got our order wrong.

Typical tex-mex, but reliably good. I always get the papas con chile as a side. Always liked Abuelos decor and environment.

Abuelos Restaurant. Very nice place to dine. A bit pricy, but very nice place to eat. Excellent service. We had a wonderful time.

The food and service were very good. The restaurant was a bit noisy, hard to hear each other speak from across the table.

Terrible experience. My wife brought me here for my birthday and we overheard two of the ladies in the bar staff talking badly about us while we ate. On top of that, they overcharged us for our drinks by about double the price. We used to frequent an Abuelos in our previous city and it was head and shoulders above this place.

UPDATE: and to cap it off my wife became ill due to the food. Avoid this place if you’re wanting to celebrate or have a nice evening.

It was good, food was good, staff spent most of the time complaining about management behind the bar but they took care of us.

Food was good. Chips we're good. Waitstaff was professional but not pleasant. Had to wait for a table because only 2 waiters were on staff today.

Very generous portions of food. My wife's sampler platter was massive and my Yucatan shrimp fajitas had more than just a few shrimp. Corn tortillas were "meh", but did not detract from the meal.

Always great food. One of our "go to" places when we eat out with friends or just by ourselves. Love the senior menu. Portions just right size and we can afford it.

The wife and I love this place! Everyone is always so nice and the food is excellent. Little disappointed with the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, only 3 shrimp for almost $9.00. Other than that, great food, great prices.

Abuelos is like taking a vacation from the traditional. Mexican food that is. But, if you enjoy the good old favorites, Abuelos can provide you with those as well. Abuelos has plenty of seafood too. Over all it's very good.

The food was Awesome! I ended up ordering bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp & they were soooo good. I also had stuffed mushrooms, the queso& salsa trio& fried jalapeno cheese fritters. (i like variety) and an amazingly good salad also. Can't wait to go back!
