Academy Sports + Outdoors, Arlington TX

First off I drive miles to buy a trampoline that said was in the store for pick up, needless to say that was no the case at all. The I decide not to waste a trip and buy and outfit. They ripped the first shirt while checking out (the only one I wanted in stock apparently) so no big deal just a little irritated at this point. I pick out another that at least mat hed.they send me out the door with what again they ripped taking the tags out. So disappointed. They
lost out on selling 400 in merchandise. And a customer forever.

Wide selection of anything you need at reasonable or marked down prices. Definitely will return for more!

Pretty good service, although shoe department was a little messy. My daughter found three great pairs of shoes!

Overpriced but great store for fishing and canoeing for my family. Conveniently located as well.

I went to this location today and they were very disorganized. I showed them the tent I needed and their computer showed 4 in stock. However, the worker would not go check in the back to find the item. Do not go to this location, even if your item says it is in stock!

Went to purchase some items and only three associates were finalizing purchases. The lines were more than fifteen customers each.

No one answers phones. Could be a good thing. Hopefully lots of freedom loving people shopping with God given smiles.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. Great selection of stuff. If they don't have something in stock they offer to order it for you.

I go for the ammo. Friendly and fast. I get my fishing licenses here. Good selection of firearms too.

Poor customer service ALWAYS. They kept me on hold for 20 mins to hang up on me. They must have too much business and not need anymore! Very disappointed.

It's academy. Reasonable prices and has lots of stuff outdoors wise and clothing. The check out lines leave something to be desired but hey

Gun/rifle selection isn't what it used to be. Their "clearance" prices on appearal are would be normal sale prices elsewhere.

Good place for everything sports. We were picking up ammo on this trip. Prices and product availability are good.

The thing I dislike about this Academy is the weird parking lot. It forces you to go in a certain way that I've never seen at any other store or commercial location. You guys need to tear out that ridiculous median in the main lane into your lot. Whoever designed this had no idea what they were doing.

Cashier had no consideration for customers time, stopped transaction to have multiple conversations on walkie talkie.held up line too.

The guy at the door says"Hi! " And we finished his sentence after about ten seconds "welcome to academy! " Found my shoes though.

Shopping for a raincoat and boots. The website info was erroneous for neither product I wanted was in-stock. I should have called first. Did find a pair of work shoes that are liquid and slip resistant that were stylish. All in all, a productive trip.

The store is very nice and is located in a decent location. The gun selection at this location is amazing compared to a couple others. If you are on the search recommend stopping in.

Good place to get what one needs. Only issue I have with this store is the bad customer service. They have so many people working and no one offers to help you or give you a hello. The cashier did make it better once I checked out. He gave me a religion bracelet.

Parking lot is small and not easy to get out of. Only made a few purchases but I'll keep going back for specific needs. Bought a grill, shoes and a fishing rod holder on separate occasions

Awesome service! We got our fishing license and kayaks here. I'm glad we picked them up over here because we live in Denton where the prices were $80-$100 more than what we paid for. Now we stop by everytime we visit Grandma.
