32My husband had to wait 3 weeks on glasses, they made his vision blurry and all they wanted to do was argue with him. Needless to say, we asked for our money back. Will not be going there again!
If I could leave zero stars I would! Worst experience ever! Came in to get sunglasses adjusted and they broke them, then laughed and said oh well, maybe you can super glue them. She could not have cared less and left us with broken expensive sunglasses. Beware- do not go here if you value your glasses or sunglasses because the people who work here just don’t care.
Don’t go to Marcus. He is very incompetent and not remorseful for any mistakes. He gives you the run around and never apologies. Beware. Deva needs to address his issues.
Worst customer service I've gotten in a long time. I came in with someone to get my glasses tightened the gentleman told me that they looked like they fit as I showed him how they slide off my face when looking down (as a massage therapist this is unacceptable)! He looked around the room and played with my glasses and then handed them over to another technician who decided to take care of other customers who came in after me. I had to ask for my glasses back and now go to another location probably the one on Collins MUST BETTER ASSISTANCE. Sad situation when this location is across the street from my house
I've always enjoyed going there. They have always been so nice and experienced. The only thing that upset me is a couple month ago I went to just get my glasses tightened. This was at the south Cooper location in Arlington. They asked me to wait in the car which is understandable. It took them 1 1/2 hours to tightened a pair pf glasses. I'm sorry but thats unacceptable. I ended up being late for my doctor appt.
Now, I have a full exam this morning and will be getting new frames amd lenses. I have read all the reviews. I sure hope I have a good experience today. You definitely need some reviews added to your list!
Check in and Eye exam was fast. Took us an hour to see someone to pay. When we were next, The person had skipped us to help someone else that had stopped them to check out. Had to go tell him something. Then i was helped, he even asked the person that was skipped if it was okay. I was like I was here first why would she mind.
When checking out had to wait for the optometrist to rewrite the Rx cause she hadden written the contact lens Rx. So then we waited even longer.
I would recommend trying an AM appointment.
Great experience. Thorough exam. Reviewing manager made several derogatory comments about my high prescription.unsettling. She wore no glasses nor even offered a polite greeting, but was quick to explain why my lens prescription would look "bad" in a pair of $160 ray bans.otherwise, Jamie was a delight to work with. However, reviewing manager who didn't bother to wear a name tag.would have driven me out the door individually.
Staff and doctors are super friendly. Would highly recommend they even have their own eye insurance you can purchase.
I'm pleased with the service I've gotten at America's Best. This is the third pair of glasses I've gotten and the service is excellent. The frames are great and don't lose their shape or screws. When I go back to my ophthalmologist, his checks show the lenses are an exact match for my prescription. Yasmeen was very helpful in helping me select and fitting me for my glasses.
The people were great. Eye doctor was amazing she was so helpful n I left in a perfect set of contacts that helped me see clearer. Steph helped us and she was amazing too. The manager truly is remarkable her professional and concern in service was beyond any eye place I've been too. Thank u all.
They had a full schedule but worked me in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My exam was thorough and the Dr answered all my questions and explained everything. Yasmeen was the assistant who helped me select my frames and get the order submitted. She was friendly and professional and gave honest feedback and suggestions. I have great confidence that I selected the right place for my eye care!
My cousin and I took a trip to Texas to visit some family, and we so happened to stop by this shop, mean while after we got serviced by an associate named Deva, she was a very kind lady it began to rain while we was inside being serviced still, as we noticed we didn’t have a umberella or jackets with us, she used her umberalla and kindly walked us to our car. Just for that act of kindness I will definitely return back again!
Great place, they worked with my busy schedule and worked with me when I found out my new contacts were not a good fit for my eyes. Thanks to my allergies. Will highly recommend!
The service was wonderful, I was greeted immediatley upon entering the store. Everyone was very professional. You can tell the employees really like their job. The Doctor was very nice and went above and beyond with my vision needs. The girl that helped me pick out my glasses was very honest and I'm very happy with my choices. I did pay more than the 2 for 69 advertised special, but I needed no line bifocals in my lenses. This is my new go to place for eyeglasses, I was really impressed.
This place had great service, but ended up getting part of my and my daughters order wrong instead of fixing it. They want me to pay $150 to correct the problem that they created. So frustrated to have to pay more for incompetent people!

After leaving a review and contacting corporate. They went over and beyond and completely fix the issue. Have never had a company actually reply and listen to its customers. Very impressive!
Dr. Nguyen, pardon me if I spell wrong she’s so helpful. Very professional she know what she’s doing. I’m going back again.
American worst place.you get what you pay for its looks like i went in to see frames sooo dirty there was a bogger on the frame ewww please dont go in i would rather pay 800 dollars for 1 pair all the location are horrible and it smells very bad like old trash.
Was nervous after reading reviews but had a GREAT experience today. Ana was wonderful! She was more patient and helpful with finding glasses for my 9 year old daughter than I was. Very happy!
The doctors were effeceint but the wait is ridiculous. After my eye exam I expected to be able to pay and leave but instead I was directed to the waiting area and have been here for 15 minutes and am still waiting. Not coming back or buying contacts through them.
Also was charged a fitting fee.for contacts. So that's odd.
What's the point of scheduling an appointment if they aren't going to see you til an hour after? Oh and you can't take advantage of their 2 frames for $69.95 if you have insurance! My glasses I did get i paid for non scratch lenses and surprise they're scratched! Go somewhere else if you have insurance!
