I was furniture shopping in the area so I stopped here. Ended up leaving very frustrated because of a sales guy who for some reason assumed I needed his financial advice / opinion. I pointed out multiple things that I liked and was ready to pay cash for but the service lost him a sale and Ashley Furniture business. I ended up buying furniture from a competitor, because of service.

This was the worst experience, I wouldn’t give it one star. My husband and I went in to look for bunkbeds and a living room set and the two sales associates were assisting customers already which we understood. The store wasn’t too busy so we started looking around when an associate from a third party company asked if we needed help. She went to the associates to get pricing on certain items that we were interested in and we told her what he had decided on. As we waited around just looking around, another customer walked in and immediately got help from one of the associates that had just finished with the last customer, keep in mind we had already been waiting for a good 30 minutes. The third party associate came a few times to thank us for our patience and offered us water before leaving for the day and she apologized what seemed like 10 times for the long wait. We waited there for another 35-40 minutes and when we finally got help (keep in mind, not once did we complain or make any comments - not about the waiting time nor about the fact they skipped us and helped someone else). We have both worked in customer service settings so we are pretty understanding. However when the male associate that was there started going over the pricing he quoted us double the price the initial price we were given. And I explained to him that this wasn’t the price we were given and if we would’ve known we would’ve not waited for over an hour when we could’ve gone to another store to search. He didn’t seemed unbothered and even suggested to go check out Rooms to Go. At this point I’m pretty ticked, and told him I was going to call corporate and let them know this was unacceptable. Once again he didn’t show any care in the world and said his manager who was seating maybe 3 feet away from him couldn’t do much about it, she didn’t say one word to him nor us so you can imagine how upsetting this was. His words were “she doesn’t even work for us so she doesn’t know the prices” my response, then she should stay off the floor and not help you guys at all then. She was 100 times more helpful than he and his manager were. We recently purchased our dining table and a set of living room tables with our credit card with Ashley Furniture but I can say now that because of this horrid experience, mainly the customer service, we will not be giving them our business any more. As he suggested, we can take our business to Rooms to Go.

The prices at this outlet are equivalent to a normal furniture shop. You’re wasting your time visiting this place if you are trying to look for better prices.
