Baptist M&S Imaging Center Medical Center, San Antonio TX

They do mandatory mammograms to young woman, this should be done unless is absolutely necessary, and only in >40 years old women. Also, the ultrasound was done in only 1 breast. The waiting time was insane, >3 hours.

The staff was very accommodating considering that no one at my doctor’s office mentioned that the Chest CT scan required fasting. As I had had coffee with creamer they were concerned that I would have a reaction to the contrast being used.
We waited awhile & they did the scan. I was very grateful as I have had a persistent cough & want to know what is happening.
While in the waiting room, I had to use the co-Ed bathroom in the lobby.
It was so dirty that I had to clean it before I used it.
Thankfully, there was soap & paper towels available.
After my scan, I was shown a bathroom that I could use to dress.
I was almost I’ll when I opened the door. Someone had peed on the toilet seat & on the floor! Disgusting!
Again, I had to clean the toilet again in order to use it. I would have walked out; however, I had stepped in pee when I walked in.
I cleaned up again. Thankfully, there were soap & paper towels available. I left the soapy paper towels on the floor so that others coming in would not step in pee. I also cannot bend due to a recent back surgery.
Before leaving, I had to clean the bottom of my shoes.
Does no one check the state of the bathrooms? Doesn’t everyone want to use clean bathrooms?
It was disgusting & the office manager needs to ensure clean facilities by designating the appropriate staff to get this done.

Was called for appt.and got my closest location.then read reviews and was apprehensive because of reviews.needed a CT SCAN.never had one before.place was great.staff friendly.but when i was called to get ct scheduled (no ct before) they asked would ypu like sedation.i asked what is test and how long? She could not tell me so i said yes.i was told i needed a driver so hubby took day off work. No wait was seen so fast. Hubby with me only to find out CT takes a WHOLE 2MINS. I was asked twice for sedation and never was told how long or what a CT was.but despite hubby missing work for a 2 min test.its was fast and friendly. Lack of knowing about test is not ok but as far as everything else it was great. I was not told no sedation for ct till i was getting a CT. So i was told to fast when they knew what i was having done.

Terrible information conveying on when X-ray times on website or paperwork. Wasted time having to go to facility and find out the truth, just another lazy corporate healthcare provider!

What’s the whole point of appointments if they’re gonna make you wait a long time. Don’t show up early, there’s no point.

It’s so wonderful that they have convenient evening hours for patients who work or go to school. The receptionist as great and the male night time MRI member was OUTSTANDING when it came to comfort and care during the procedure.

I just had xrays done on June 6th and I'm very grateful for the Babtist M&S Imaging located on Fredericksburg RD. I've been there several times and have always been treated good. From checking in to getting my xray I feel I'm in good hands. Thanks to everyone even though I can't remember names.

I felt cared for from the moment I spoke to someone. I was treated with dignity and respect and made to feel my case was important. The staff showed empathy and kept me informed at every stage. This is how medicine should be!

I was totally impressed by the service I received at this facility. MRI technician was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Administrative personnel were very efficient, friendly and experienced in getting insurance authorizations approved quickly.
The doctors were very thorough in explaining results and answering questions.
I recommend this facility and system wholeheartedly.

I wish I could give this dump -100 stars. Falling apart, dirty and they tried to put me in a “bio hazard” room. Are you kidding me!? !? Hell no. Never ever again. Ever. Run fast.

Friendly staff, but the wait time is outrageous. I have been waiting for about 45 minutes and still have not been seen. Extremely crowded at around lunchtime on weekdays. Not a lot of seating available due to the overwhelming amount of patients to be seen. I would suggest scheduling an appointment closer to closing time.

Unfriendly front office, not an uncommon thing in San Antonio. Place in in a rundown outdated building and reeked of tobacco smell. The location gave the impression of not being being very clean or very modern. The MRI is the oldest and loudest MRI I have ever been in. Very bad experience.

Wonderful Doctors & staff, excellent care and compassion I am grateful to have some where in Baptist M &S to go for great care. The doctors nurses, and staff were wonderful. I'm so thankful that we decided to give this hospital a chance.

Experience at the clinic was great. I didn’t wait that long. Maybe about 10 minutes after filling out patient form. There wasn’t a lot of people waiting in the lobby. There were maybe four other people and myself. My appointment was at 6: 00pm, so I guess best time to go is in the evening when it’s closer to closing time. Only downfall was that I paid more for what they had orginally told me it was going to be over the phone. The person that did the ultrasound on me was kind and professional.

Always a ridiculously long wait. Been here three times and swore last time I'd never return. Stupid me, here I am. Been here waiting 1.5 hours and counting for an xray. Staff is SLOW. Lobby is crowded. Staff has a radio on, and the TV is on in the lobby. Not pleasant.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Drive across town. It'll be faster. Heck, drive to Austin, it'll be faster.

If I wasn't in pain in would have left the facility. I waited over a hour after my appointment.

They double booked my clients appointment! The imaging tech said the staff has been complainanting on the schedulers but the management has not done anything about it! As it is my client was not feeling well (reason why she had to be there) then they make the experience even worse by them telling her to go into the imaging room then someone walks in. That makes you doubt the privacy protection while you are in there! I hope they get it together ASAP!

Waiting room, way too small. Too many steps to be completed before actual procedure. I am associated with the UT Health System. All the waiting rooms are very spacious.

The staff runs a little behind. No call prior to appointment. Found out at appointment, there was a co pay.
Test was for ultrasound. I was not having any pain on right side of ribs before going in and when she started test on my right rib cage it was painful. I told her and didn't say anything or slow down. She did a second time pressed hard on my ribs and I told her again. All she said was we are almost done.

My daughter even said there was no need to press so hard as you can feel my ribs since I am a thin woman.

I got out of there with a lot of pain. I could hardy walk or carry my tote bag.

They don't do XRays on Saturday & there was no mention of that on the website, just a sign on the door. Drove here for nothing. Also they don't do appointments for Xrays at any location. The only locations that do x-rays on Saturday are a couple that are open until noon. No X-rays on Sunday either.
