Received nothing for pain. Told them what happened at previous hospital and I recall the doctor say he'll give me a prescription for pain. But to my avail, no no pain medication. Just a patch for nausea and vomiting which as I told him I didn't get often.this is so frustrating. Waste of time and money!

Today I was greeted at the front desk main entrance, just needed to pick up Rx from the pharmacy. She was attentive, took my temperature and put the standard paper bracelet on. She complimented me on my ring, which I thanked her for and made me feel great. I took the walk to the pharmacy, where I heard this man's voice (who sounded like a DJ) I overheard him chatting with the Pharmacy staff about "Kind" bars which perked my ears, because I'm a fan of those. They didn't have them, so he settled on a small package of Fig Newtons. I made a simple comment, something like wow, I haven't thought about those in years, now I'm going to have to get some. He pretty much insisted on buying me a pack and it Completely made my day. Thank You Mr. Jared from imaging and Kyra J. Your kindness to just one person goes along way. Keep up the wonderful Work Y'all do.

I am very sad and very disappointed in the none care and neglect i received from the doctors and some nurse and tects. On 02/08/2021 that evening i was carry into the ER by Paramedics because of bow problems. I was admitted into the hospital because CT scan showed i had a obstruction in my lower bow. So i was NPO which i understood. Blood pressure was a little high as well, after i was shipped of to some not so nice room with NO BATHROOM at all, it look like something that was just put together. The services i received was very poor from day until night. Even from the doctors acted like they didn't want to treat me! Was it because i am a black woman? I will not be coming back to Baylor Scott and White of Irving anymore for medical help. This is my life and health, and if i can't trust the doctors and nurses and tects to care for me! I will not be back and i will not back my family there. Am very disappointed in the care i received. Now i have to go see another doctor about my bows, am still hurting and i can't eat anything without great pain. Before i left yesterday, not one of the doctors came so see me or give me instructions at home to do. Am not some black lady that you think you can do any kind of way. I know my rights and the medical laws.

I have been going here for 20 years. Never will I return.they ask for our thoughts and do what? Because of this covid mess.it's like nobody is watching.doctors do as they please.they had no bedside commode.thry had no chair.so I stayed in bed entire time. In rehab as we speak.some things I just can't put on here.niurses are doing there best. Under difficult circumstances. But never again will go back to this filthy place. Do not send your loved ones here if you can keep from it.

I understand health workers are probably overwhelmed due to the pandemic but this place is a joke never seen so many healthcare workers were just negative attitudes from the lady checking you in at the reception booth all the way up to labor and delivery I will be going somewhere else to have my baby delivered especially when the doctors act like were a burden to them, There wasn’t a single nurse who was nice it’s sad choose a different career if you don’t want to help people

Unprofessional, dangerously inept ~ despite an xray showing a fractured pelvis, young inexperienced staff manhandled my spouse in such a way as to cause more damage. It was so disturbing that I decided to write this review.

Went there to have a CT scan was told the estimate would be $2000. Paid $500 upfront. The bill was almost $4000 for a simple CT Scan. Looked at the average cost for CT scan in this area and its $1200. Last CT Scan I got was $700 at another facility for the same procedure. Needless to say, I will not be going here again.

Is too expensive and very inconsiderate as soon as we got to the room a lady came and asked if. We had insurance. Her respond was if you all do not have insurance your bill is going to be to start $1717 and that was just when we got in without doing anything. Becareful do not go to this place even if you have insurance.

Sigh.guys listen. Or well, night clinic more specifically. Writing your new summer hours on a piece of paper AT your clinic doesn't magically transfer to your phone. Which states that you close at 4pm not 1: 30. Jeez.severe stomach pains then anger after driving only to realize you guys are closed.

Been here for personal surgery and was pleased with people, processes, and care. I brought my late wife in for numerous testings and we were quite pleased with professionalism and processes. Currently here with an associate for diagnostic procedures.

I am a severe pain patient. I took the time to work the Baylor through my Doctor to set up a protocol with which to treat me when I am brought into the hospital from passing out from pain. The hospital failed to delivery on treatment of protocol, the PA on staff lied that she spoke to my doctor when she had not. In addition I have a neurostimulator in my back and during the examine she dislodged my battery causing me to have to have yet another surgery to replace the battery and relocate it back to side where it belongs. All the hospital wants to do is hide what happen rather than deal with properly. They discriminate against pain patients and basically called me an addict. I expect better from such a brand hospital.

Was admitted through the ER. Everyone in the emergency department was caring and helpful and quickly got me admitted and treated. Was placed on the 4th floor where I could not ask for better treatment. Every single person I encountered during my stay were top notch. The staff in nuclear medicine were awesome (Rolando and his coworker). All the guys on the 4th floor (Tracy, Jason, Davis, Heidi, Jen S.and all the others I can't remember their names) Genuine caring and nice beyond what I could expect. Thank you all!

I wish there was a lower rating. This hospital which plays scripture over the loudspeaker every morning, professes Christian values has nurses/ doctors that are cruel. My daughter had a false positive when delivering her babies. We knew it had to be the poppy seed strudel I made 2 nights before. We begged for retesting and they wouldn't until she left the hospital. Of course both her and her husband's hair test came back negative (a past 9 month history). My daughter was treated like a criminal. They said they were going to give the babies morphine because they tested positive which we later found out from CPS wasn't true. They called her a drug addict in my presence and said the test proved she was a long term street drug user. It was hell. We have to constantly pray to forgive these people for the nightmares they caused and their verbal and physical cruelties. They wouldn't help clean her up or help her walk. Totally shunned her for the week she was there after C-section.

This is a Baylor facility? Worst wifi connectivity and their network admins have locked out so many safe websites, like news, technology, computers, and science. Talk about dumbing down our world. Thanks Baylor IT department.

Well i went thru straight hell the doctor was screaming at my ear when i was in pains i had to keep on asking for my meds so many times. What i know is that if you are black don't come to this hospital at all but if you mexican most likely you going to get a better experience from this hospital

The nursing staff was great, I have no complaints with them. However, discharge communications are horrible, the scenario kept changing and they would wait until the last minute to inform the family. In addition, when my mother fell and was treated in August 2017 for a broken hip and stroke, they found blocked blood vessels in her brain. The problem with that is they never informed the family, never offered or suggested treatment with plavix or blood thinner. My mother has now had a major stroke that has left her seriouly impaired. I believe it is a direct result of their failure to inform and treat properly.

Three things you need to know:
1. The doctors work under a different network than the hospital, so the cheap parts of your bill will be covered by insurance, but the rest won't be. They do not tell you this. They just keep throwing stuff at you until your head is spinning, do not clarify anything, and totally disregard pricing.
2. The doctors and nurses seemed to look over some pretty blatantly obvious things that we will now have to pay someone else to check on.
3. The bathrooms have roaches. Had to stay overnight, the roaches were there for over 24 hours. Enjoy!
Best of luck! Try not to have an emergency anywhere near this ER.

This was one of the best hospitals I have been too. There was no wait in the ER and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend this hospital.
