Baylor Scott & White Primary Care at the Star reviews
26The staff are wonderful and I was seen within minutes of my scheduled appointment. Dr Bejamin is one of the most knowledgeable and personable doctors I've ever met, so happy to have him as my primary Physician!
Dr. Herold is absolutely amazing and her nurse is just as amazing. Best Doctor I have ever had!
Easier to get with the president on the phone then with this office. It is just rediculose. I have been waiting for over an hour on the phone on hold no one answered and it was during their open office hours.
I have been a patient here for 5+ years and I have to disagree with the most recent negative posts. I’ve never had a problem getting the front desk on the phone. Dr. Gandhi always finds a way to work me in his schedule when I need an appointment and I have been rather sick lately. He spends time with me and answers all my questions, I never feel rushed. I feel like we are a team in my health plan.
I was extremely sick and a new patient. They scheduled same day appointment, diagnosed me and consulted with me on how to get better.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the last few negative reviews. I've been a patient at this location for about 1.5 years, and each time I go in for an appointment I seem to leave more dissatisfied than my previous visit. I felt inclined to leave a review after my latest experience.
As a previous reviewer commented on already, the process to make an appointment is much more difficult than it should be. After lengthy wait times, I was finally able to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, my doctor seemed completely disconnected and provided little to no response to my questions. When I asked about a particular concern, he replied, "come in and talk to me about it. " I sat there thinking to myself, "Errrm. I'm sitting here trying to talk to you about it now. " I guess I'm limited to only one question per appointment. I'd say he spent less than 5 minutes with me throughout my visit. I never had a doctor make me feel like he/she couldn't care less. I was quickly shuffled to some obscure room to receive my flu shot and have blood drawn. The nurse working the lab was VERY rough with the needle in both circumstances, but I can easily say that was the most painful experience I've ever had with having my blood drawn.
I carefully researched the Dallas hospital network when I moved to the area about 2 years ago, and I chose this location because of the good reviews I read about the Baylor hospitals. Unfortunately, I'm back to researching for a new primary care physician. I doubt I'll ever return to this location.
