Bell County Northbound Safety Rest Area reviews
28This might sound dumb but I love this rest stop. I have been stopping here when going back and forth between Dallas and Austin for years. Interesting stuff inside, the restrooms have always been reasonably clean, there is ample room for dog walking, a playground for the kids and the vending machines take cash or credit. 5/5 recommend (if you need a rest stop)
Not only you can stretch your legs but your fur baby too
I appreciate that is air-conditioned too cool off too
As far as truck parking goes, if it was twice as big it still wouldn't be enough for all the truckers stuck in limbo late at night.
Clean and safe spot for a quick potty break or a picnic on your way up/down I-35 during this crazy pandemic.
Two building; one with inside bathrooms, vending machines and educational history sculptures. The second just bathrooms and easier to get to when you really need to use the rest room. Areas to walk and play around with covered picnic spots which are a great option for picnics. Usually very clean and well kept.
This place is super cool and huge for a rest area. Bathrooms are 7/10 on cleanliness most of the time but nice place to stop and chill for a bit on a long road trip.
The rest area on 45 in Texas are always so clean. Love to stop here traveling. Always stocked with snacks and drinks and just walk around and stretch while hubby smokes
Great place with clean restrooms, children's playground, storm shelter and safe place to stay if you need to rest your eyes for a little bit. They have alot of vending machines if you need a quick snack, along with machines that sell soda, water or coffee. It's very easy and convenient to get in and out and back onto I35.
The rest area was very clean inside and out a good place to stay at overnight attendance there I want site to keep restrooms clean.
This rest area was wonderful. Clean and friendly. Beautifully maintained. Lots to do when you have jello-legs from long road trips loved the trails and the amount of shade
Nicest rest stop on Ih35!
We frequent trips from San Antonio to Dallas and this rest stop gives us a clean, safe place to rest and let the kids spew their energy out for the second half of our trip!
Well cared for Rest Stop with shelters from storms. Clean Restrooms and snacks and cold drink machines.
It may sound strange to review a rest stop, but this is a relatively new one that is very clean and easy to get on and off the interstate. They have storm shelters and a manned visitor center during the weekdays. They also have a very nice display and information about the Chisolm Trail. There are vending machines as well accessible 24 hours.
Clean, beautiful, safe to stop here. There is parking, restrooms, vending machines, pet area and a bit of history inside. Lots of room to stretch your legs. We took a nap in the car, with no worries.
Safe place to use the restroom, stretch your legs, learn a little Texas history and make phone calls. Easy access and easy on ramp.
This rest area is very clean, and I love that they build them with playgrounds now so that our kids can get out all the energy they have stored up from driving for hours at a time. The whole "safety" thing seems weird to me though, you'd have to be very lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) to be at just the right place and time to need to use the storm shelters, though for those few people that potentially could be, I guess it's a great idea.
So grateful for there rest areas perfect for taking a quick power nap or using the restroom im glad there open thanks to the people who keep up with those locations it must be a chore to drive to the middle of nowhere just to clean these felicities but it is very much appreciated.
This is a very nice rest area. Clean bathrooms. Pretty cool museum for a nice break. Children's playground is pretty cool. The vending machines are ok. Two food machines and three drink machines. Great picnic areas and nice area to stretch and talk around.
Awesome rest stop. Very well kept and clean. Great place to stop while traveling between cities
