Pros - Lovely staff. We have been helped and listened to many times! Maintenance is very quick and always nice. Even though this is an older complex, the updates are really nice. I use the gym almost every day and most people there are courteous and polite. They have nice equipment and a great studio room.
Cons - Visitor parking is the only thing that's a bummer. It's slim, but not impossible to get a spot if you come at the right time.

We lived here almost a year and it's been great, with a few bumps. We had to move out of state but Bella Vida is at the top of our list for when we move back soon!

Pros:
*Amenities! The amenities are fantastic! We would spend all day by the pool and in the gym.
*Apartment design. Loved the look of the finishes. And we had the hardwood-style flooring on the top floor and loved it.
*Balcony off the master bedroom.
*Gated community.
*Location.
*Staff tries to be friendly and stay on top of things. It's a busy community so you have to have patience too.
*Maintenance staff are super friendly! They will always explain what they find/what's going on if you're home. (P. S. They like Krispy Kreme!)
*Property is great and love the path to walk through the community.

Cons:
*Cockroaches were everywhere in the kitchen when we moved in. They were crawling in the cabinets, in the dishwasher, under appliances, in the pantry. They were even in the master bedroom. It took pest control several trips. The pest control tech left notes the first two times they came that said he didn't do anything. We had to sleep with all the lights on for almost two months and finally got rid of them ourselves.
*We kept having problems with ants in the master bedroom and we finally found a colony living in the bedroom wall. There was a small puncture behind the blinds that they were coming through. Again, we had to have pest control come twice and the second time he finally spray on the hole itself.
*No assigned parking. There are carports, but it's all first-come-first-serve. One of our neighbors was a 3-person roommate situation, so not having one assigned parking spot per apartment was frustrating.
*People abusing the amenities. We caught people trashing the pools multiple times.
*The cabinets are kind of cheap.
*The catch-22 with the staff: They're a pro and con. They are very busy and sometimes you have to follow up a couple times on things, but they again are very friendly and try to stay on top of things.

Overall, it was great! I would just recommend requesting pest control to go in before you move in.

The apartment themselves are great. They've got a good layout but the ever changing rules are not so great. We have a 3 bedroom apartment and about 6 months ago they changed the parking passes so instead of us only being able to park 2 vehicles under covered parking we could now park 3. I was told numerous times that our 4th vehicle would just have to be in visitor parking. Not a problem. Fast forward 6 months and now I'm being told that unless I shell out more money for a garage, our 4th vehicle will be towed. Luckily, our lease is ending in a few months and since it's only a vehicle I drive 2 or 3 times a week I can take it elsewhere for now. I just don't see why after almost 2 years of living here with no issues it has suddenly become a problem and why the first time I hear about their new rule is by having a tag from the towing company left on my windshield marked "extended stay". Really? Of course it's an extended stay. I've lived here for almost 2 years! Also, I've only ever seen cars in the parking garages and they look quite small so I'm not even sure if any of the vehicles I own could fit in them
