This place has really gone down hill. Every single day, this place is double booked. If your appointment is at 10: 00, you’ll wait in line (often outside) and not be seen for vitals until 11: 00. It takes 1 hour to do what use to take 7 minutes. Then you often wait to be sat in a bed and stuck. So you more than likely be here for 1 hour and 15 minutes and you still will not have donated 1 mL of plasma. This process happens every single time. However, if you are late by even 5 minutes, you can’t donate that day. So it definitely a 1 way road.

Also, they take 900mL of plasma from me every time and I get the same money as someone who donates 690mL every time.

This place wasted my time on 2 different occasions. Long story short, if I had known beforehand that I was not eligible to give blood yet I wouldn't have made the 45 minute drive. This information was not posted on their website. Do yourself a favor and don't give at this place. Instead head over to Octapharma Plasma.

BioLife Plasma in Denton is literally making donors stand outside in the 37 degree rain and cold today for "social distancing. " It's apparently ok and logical to deliberately put your donors at risk for pneumonia as long as they are socially distanced while getting it! For a medical organization to claim this is good patient care is unbelievable. A site supervisor Wyatt literally told me, ”well if you get pneumonia, its better than Covid because there’s no vaccine for Covid. ” Actually there is a vaccine for Covid and not pneumonia! The fact that Wyatt would even say that to me is unbelievable and completely unprofessional.
Finally After driving 40 minutes and waiting over an hour partially in the rain and cold they wouldn’t let me donate and sent me away because of a slight bruise in one arm where THEY stuck me the last time. Do not go to Bio Life Denton unless you want the runaround, your time wasted, and your health risked so you can socially distance.

Today I did my 2nd time and I have to say it went pretty well! Good friendly nurses there. At first I got a bit light headed but then after felt totally fine. This is worth helping people in our world who needs plasma right now! Worth doing it!

Clean, comfortable, and friendly. First donation takes about 2 hours. It’s quick after that. Just like donating blood, except you get paid for it.

Some of the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Professional, thorough, happy, courteous and even their newest "Lauren" was tops with the rest.
Thank you!

I go twice a week. It's usually a quick and good experience. Only a few times I had ran into an employee I thought was less than professional, but nothing can be perfect. One thing I would chanhe is the payout, my husband and I drive 30 minutes to donate and the first time for $20 each is a bummer but we go for the $70 each the next time. Raising the first donation payment up even to just $30 would make it a bit more worth while.

Prepare to wait 45+ min after your scheduled time before beginning your donation. Location is horribly understaffed and managed.

Kaylee the “nurse” bedside manner was horrible, with zero compassion or consideration of each specific situation. I hope she gets treated the same way she treats the patients, which in her case it’s more like cattle. When I asked why there wasn’t a list of things that would lead them to turn you down, kaylee said: “we can’t list that many things, it would be about 100 pages”. Well STOP WASTING PEOPLE’S TIME AND GET A LIST! Terrible experience. Will never come back to this place!

They kicked our friend out of the building into the freezing cold while we donated because his information papers were missing something. Had to leave before donating to let him into the car.

Friendly staff! They were very informative and answered any questions I had. It was my first time donating and the staff showed that they cared about my experience! I most definitely plan on donating again!

I never leave reviews but this place is awesome! The young lady that was my technician (I think her name was Kourtney) was very intelligent and professional, it’s obvious she’s knowledgeable about the company and cares about her job you guys need to give her a raise or promote her ASAP!

I called asking if I was able to donate with a certain medical condition. I was told I couldn't be given the answer over the phone and that I needed to talk to a nurse.
I completed my registration online and receive the email stating what I need to bring with me when I arrive with hope of making my first donation.
When I arrive, I ask for the nurse as directed from my first phone call. The receptionist asked who I spoke with and I responded with I wasn't sure. This receptionist told me that I needed to go through the entire screening process before they could ask if my condition is reason for denial. Without wanting to go through the entire process I asked if I could just speak with the nurse like I was told to do on my phone conversation.
The receptionist got the nurse and I was taken to a room and told the nurse what my condition was. The nurse asked me to have a seat in the office and she would return. When she returned she told me that she couldn't give me an answer and that I needed to go through a portion of the screening process that should only take approximately 10 minutes. I agreed with skepticism.
When I went to the registration area I was asked for my ID and social security CARD. I told the nurse that I don't have the card with me (who has their card in their wallet). I told her that I do have a picture of it, but that was not acceptable.

Nowhere on the website, email or phone call was I told to bring my CARD with me. Looking back at the email and website it simply mention the SSN and never once the card.

After this experience, why would I want to make another trip to Biolife? I feel they don't value my time or consider me a waste of THEIR time when I told the nurse about my medical condition. I hope management sees this review and updates their emails and online information to show what you actually need to bring and trains the staff to work better with new applicants.

Its a very good place good staff but the marketing is a little confusing i got jipped out of 70 dollars because i i thought it was within one week. But it's within their week. So now that i know im good it was just annoying. I'll leave 5 star because i cant really complain much and technically it's my fault but just a heads up.

This place is very clean and professional. Aside from the great things they do with the donations, the compensation is amazing! Last year we fully funded our Christmas and the year before a family vacation! Can't say enough good things about this place.

Apon the arrival of my boyfriend and I was trying to sign in and figure out how to donate plasma, one of the white coat ladies was really rude and DID NOT help at all. She had a very bad attitude and the whole time I waited on my boyfriend to finish up she complained about every little thing. Very unprofessional.

Went for the first time today and it took exactly 4 hours to finish. They advertise you need only 2.5 hours for your first time. Plus, the compensation was 20$. Unless you have all day to lose and you are desperate for money, don't go!
