Great atmosphere and vibe. Nothing like waiting while you drink a complimentary beverage. Prices are very affordable and the place is always clean.

Monique did such an amazing job with our 4 yr old son! So patient and quick for his little wiggle worm self. Definitely coming here for future cuts! Kid friendly environment, professional staff, clean and reasonably priced.

Been going to the 41st/Red River location for awhile now and specifically had the pleasure of have Jazmine as my stylist. She asks all the the right questions to get just the cut I want and is an amazing conversationist. Def recommend a trip! Also Birds' app and website booking is the best I've used bar none. And their quarantine process alleviates as much worry as possible when needing a haircut in these trying times.

Got hair cut and dyed. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Workers are helpful and informative. Definitely recommended.

GO WHEN MASON IS WORKING! Mason puts so much care and attention into my hair, even when he could put a lot less and make my hair still look amazing and get more clients, so I appreciate him so much for taking his time! The staff are extremely friendly and the environment is nice.

I always to to Ashley Langford because she is a great listener and gives me the haircut envisioned. She has a wealth of experience and she is one of the only people who can cut my wavy hair into straight bangs.

Had a great experience and extremely pleased with my haircut. Aaron did a great job and I have had great haircuts with everyone I have seen here over the years. I would highly recommend calling ahead of time and getting your name on the list before showing up. They can get rather busy and the wait time for walk-ins can be rather lengthy so make sure to call ahead. The inside is very clean and I like how they have it decorated. Central location in Austin and easy to get to.

Just walked in for a quick clean up, they said they are all booked for the day with only 2 people waiting. No way of working me in. Didn’t see on the door or signs by appointment only. Very disappointing because the reviews were good.

Had a free haircut card. Booked an appointment for 2pm on a Friday. Arrived early. Did not wait long. Ms. Jackie cut my hair was great to talk to. Listened to what I wanted, gave suggestions and did a great job.

Miranda gave me the dankest hair cut today! Also, everyone there is great — lovely people and skilled with hair. Can’t imagine going anywhere else in town

Jualdo gives a damn good haircut! Dude hair, lady hair, gender neutral hair, Jualdo is amazing at cutting all of it. Plus, Birds has free Austin East Cider and Pac-Man while you wait, a big nest of green parrots lives atop the telephone pole out front, and everyone is always super polite + helpful.

You can get a good haircut for not too expensive, they have some good discounts, and if you want you can get a Shiner while waiting.

Birds has been so hit or miss for me. I go very frequently because it is very easy to get an appointment and their prices are decent. That being said I have gotten some great cuts and some terrible ones too.

Ok so I just moved here from NYC have been looking desperately for a place to do a half way decent FADE
FOR CHRIST SAKES. YET AGAIN ANOTHER FAIL.

I enjoy coming here for a haircut: stylists do a good job with "trendy haircuts" and are friendly, and "free" beer while you wait. Three stars because the host/front desk staff are almost always unpleasant to deal with. Very unfriendly and really don't seem to care. I think the main person hates their job. Really hurts the overall image of the place.

Girl, Michelle has mad skills! So chilled and laid back place. Prices are amazing and love my hair.

Good place for a kids cut at $20. I've paid much more at special "kid's salons". Games, lollipops, chill staff, good music, and free beer make it easier to wait. Call ahead or come early if you don't want to wait or want to choose a stylist. Maybe don't drink beer at 9am.
