Apparently showing up at 6: 45 when they close at 8 is "right before we close" and I was told "we won't be able to squeeze you in. " There were 3 people waiting and 4 hairdressers (of which 2 appeared to be preparing for their next client). I've been going to Birds on Burnet for a couple years and figured I'd try the one closer to my house. I'm pretty disappointed as I've never been turned away before.

Chill place with really nice people. My stylist gave me a great haircut, but my only regret is I forgot to ask for her name for when I come back. Worst case scenario you get a free beer which is always nice. Oh and make sure to call ahead so that you don't have to wait a super long time.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Haircuts aren't too expensive; they're worth it. Plus, they give you a free beer at the front while you wait!

Only complaint is that sometimes the wait is long. Just block off about 45 minutes or so every time you go.

I have been going here for almost 6 years and have never had a bad hair cut. Never much of a wait but I would recommend calling ahead Thursday - Sunday. Reasonable prices, ask for Jualdo he is fantastic!

I've gone here quite a few times to get my haircuts and I've never gotten a bad one! You can call ahead but I've never had much of a wait from just walking in. Also there is free beer with your haircut, if you need an incentive to try it out.

It's alright, got charged for medium hair size and it didn't really know how they come up with that. My hair is not short but not super long either, it think it was the hairdresser call on that which may vary depending who cuts your hair. Is there a specific length for medium hair?

Inexpensive, the stylists and barbers seem to actually enjoy their jobs. Plus, they'll offer you a beer while you wait, which definitely takes the sting out of waiting for a haircut.
