Perfect place to come with the kids, there is a small museum about the creamery and how they make ice cream (no fee), and there is an observation deck in the second floor, with windows so you can see the ice cream machines and the packing machines, also the people working there, very interesting! (No fee!) also there is a small store for souvenirs and you can buy ice cream ($1 each) with lot of flavors they don’t offer at the supermarket. Would be a nice place to come for a field trip or any day to get out to the country.
It’s open mon-Friday only. Masks required to enter.

We took our 5 year old daughter here today. We left Bryan College Station without our debit card. I was trying to see if I could buy a gift card to use at the counter- my cc card info is on my phone but Matt at the information desk was so kind and told us to get what ever ice cream we wanted and they would take care of it. Fun little family day trip. Thanks Blue Bell for the delicious ice cream!

Nice day for family. You get to see the ice cream factory from the observation deck. Very interesting. There’s a nice gift shop there too.

Super cool place to visit with kiddos. Neat to see the ice cream being packaged, though I thought it would be more Wilky Wonka-esque. Alas, no oompa loompas. Great gift shop and big fat scoops of $1 ice cream!

We love Blue Bell Ice Cream so we had to stop! They have a visitor center that tells the history of Blue Bell and an observation deck where you can watch ice cream being made and packaged. The information person at the observation deck was gave a lot of interesting information about the company and the process. It sounds like a great company to work for! In the ice cream parlor you can get a good size scoop of ice cream for $1 and it was delicious! I highly recommend stopping by here if you are in the area.

Always worth a stop to go to the ice cream shop! Can't beat $1.00 scoops of ice cream. They have flavors you can't get in stores like coconut, black cherry and birthday cake. Of course there are favorites like chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip, too. So yummy! We didn't do the tour this time, but it's worth doing once in your life.

It's okay, definitely not a tour. Observation deck is smaller than expected, the general store has some good items but it's also small. The ice cream samples are a good size for a dollar with lots of choices. The visitors center was interesting, as long as you're there, go see it! But none of this matters to children, they will love this place!

It is a quick activity. Go to the second floor look down show the kids how ice cream is packaged. They do not show how it is made. Then go get your scoops. They are $1 each scoop. And then shop in the gift shop. Tale some photos and done.

Fantastic service and products. The observation deck and tour are something all Texans and visitors alike should do. $1 large scoops of various flavors are pretty good deal too!

There are simply so many photo opportunities in the front yard without having to go inside - they don't open and therefore no tour on weekends.
Flowers, trees and grass all beautifully maintained and trimmed.
I recommend in the trip to Brenham, plan on visiting other places and nearby cities.

It was nice to see some of how the ice cream is made and get a little history of how Blue Bell Creamery started. A walk around the Visitor's Center and a walk around the Creamery and that's about it.

Blue Bell is a great Texas company that sells a superior quality product. The observation area offers a fascinating view of four of the facilities production lines. You can see the single serve sizes, 3 gallon parlor sizes and two others generally from the viewing area. The museum is interesting and offers a interesting look into the companies long history. It is still a family owned company that is respected by its workers. Generous scoops are available for $1.00 in their parlor. Several flavors are “parlor only”. The cinnamon was really good.

The cleanliness is awesome. The place is cremeary everyone must visit this place. This place shows you how Blue bell icecream is made and they have 3 building to see each process. The best part of this place is you will see around 15 flavour of icecream and which you can try in just $1. Kids will enjoy this place. Lot of scenery is also there and photo scenic point as well.

I had never been to an ice cream factory, so well this was the first time, the experience is really quite nice, it has a very informative museum, many places to take photos and most importantly, each scoop of ice cream for only $ 1 is left.a bit far from the city (if you live in Houston) but it is a great option.

Very interesting and informative. You can also get a generous dip of ice cream for $1. Worth a trip if you are in the area.

Great experience. The dollar scoop for the LARGE scoop was worth it. They were making cherry ice cream in 1/2 gallon, vanilla in single serve and blue monster in the big containers. Lots of this to see.

We checked online and found that only the store was open. That was ok because that is what we were looking for. We drove several hours just to find them closed. No signs saying what their hours or days of operation were. Nothing on their website. All the reviews on Google stated they were open on Saturdays. Totally wrong. Complete waist of an 8 hour car ride! I was completely disappointed. There were SEVERAL other people there who were just as surprised.

Amazing! Had a fun time with the family. We saw the ice cream being packaged. Sadly we are not able to take photos. The tours are currently closed. The ice cream flavors to choose from at the parlor is some of the best and the employees working the parlor were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a nice day trip this is the spot to go. Im looking forward to coming back.

Bluebell ice cream is the best! We loved trying the flavors not sold in stores. Everything was very clean. Highly recommend stopping by!
