Stumbled in here & glad we did! It was yummy! Not expensive either. Order half a sandwich unless you want a foot long.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting A Cabe With No Name. Great Sandwiches, friendly staff and the prices are good too! They also have gorgeous pies and cakes. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Absolutely cherish our hometown soup and sandwich shop.
The staff is top notch friendly and so helpful. This is our go-to place for the best soup, salad, and sandwiches.
Today we had a Reuben with pastrami, and broccoli cheese soup- wow!
You may want to order a half sandwich, (they're large) especially with soup and a dessert!
And let's not forget their incredible pies (OMG), they're all homemade, and every one we've had, has been so scrumptious!

The sandwiches here are great! Big and hearty. Lots of great options. The service is relatively fast. The food is high quality and inexpensive.

Awesome! We were lost when we stepped in. We didn't know where to go to order, we didn't even know what they had to order. Walking around and watching others, we figured it out. We were just passing through, but we would return over and over to try more soups, sandwiches, and anything else they serve. Everyone was friendly and helpful. These folks work hard. There was a never ending line of hungry people walking in. It was a wonderful atmosphere of down home food, folks, and excitement in anticipation of the delicious food.

Bumdoodlers is the place I go when I want a hearty bowl soup and a great sandwich. If you want dessert, they have homemade pies and cheesecakes. I would give them 5 stars, but ordering food takes longer than I think it should. The food is still worth it though.

Got coconut pie I've known this company their pies are one of a kind pies was delicious but needed a tad littke mire sugar and mire creamier

A must try! It’s been my go-to sandwich shop in Boerne since high school. The Brainstorm (hot), cup of broccoli soup and TX sweet tea! Can’t go wrong.thx Bums!

Great sandwiches at a great price.

My major complaint is the employees were not wearing their masks. The majority of the employees had masks covering only their chins. The one employee who was wearing a mask was not covering their nose.

Baked goods are amazing and really good prices. Most of the rating is for the pies and cookies. If I was going off the sandwiches only it would be a 3. Despite offering different toppings they all taste the same. No strong flavors to differentiate between them. Not necessarily bad just bland. Soup is good though.

Grew up in Boerne, used to be so quaint and nice, still not bad. This place has always been so great! Been eating here for about 25 years. I recommend the brainstorm, get it hot! And the broccoli cheese soup:)

So delicious everything from scratch! Recently had a bday cake from the bakery out of this world!

Why do people eat here? I guess it must be an either love it or hate it place. I hate it. Food is way over priced for what it. Let's start with pie. It's ok, meh. There's way better pie other places. But the price for a piece? You'd expect a big piece (not a sliver) or some of the best pie top Grace your mouth. That's not what you get.

I love Bumdoodlers! Their sandwiches are big and filling and come with a pickle and bag of chips. The price you pay is equivalent to what you would pay if it was Subway. I have yet to try their pies or cakes but will get around to it one day.

Bums has always been a delight to eat. But recently when I call I have been having alot of issues with the employees being rude, or not being helpful. Food is always delicious, customer service could use some work though.

Food is pretty good. I recommend getting your sandwich on Po-boy bread, otherwise it just comes on plain white bread

I don't eat at restaurants much, but Bumdoodler's is one I will eat at.

Their sandwich's are always fresh and their soups are as well, with great flavor. Everything is always consistent, never a long wait. I have yet to try their deserts.
