Bumdoodlers Geri's Pies reviews
39Normally this is a place to run to for lunch. Sandwiches, soups, baked potatoes and pies. They must have been super busy today because the sandwiches were a little skimpy and the soup extra peppery! Hopefully this is not a permanent change. The desserts are gorgeous and delicious. The variety of breads for the sandwiches are soft and chewy. Overall it's a great place for lunch.
Awesomely good sandwiches at a good price. It's a small place with not that much room but don't let it fool you, looked aren't everything, the food is great!
The best sandwiches and the chocolate cheesecake is amazing. The old smokey has a secret sauce that is so good. All their sandwiches are better hot. All the pies and cakes are delicious but you have to try dipping a ruffle chip in the chocolate cheesecake.the sweet, salty combo is yummy!
Service was nice but the food wasn't that good. I had a chicken salad sandwich I couldn't finish it didn't like it, my husband had the cowboy sandwich didn't really like it gave it to my son who didn't like his salad. All in all it wasn't good. Cheesecake was yummy though
Had the roast beef sandwich. The meat was sliced in a pile then just thrown onto the bread. Would have liked to see the meat not in a stack like it was.
Delicious must go! Fresh baked pies and breads for their sandwiches. The place is usually busy and space is limited due to poor layout and tables. I recommend call in orders.
Simply love the food here. Love the pies. It is all really good. The sandwiches are all so fresh and taste amazing.
I had the Reuben. It was okay but not memorable. It definitely needed more meat. The split pea soup was outstanding.
Awesome small town sandwich shop! Broccoli Cheese soup with half a Spud was fantastic. It is not a fancy place, but it was great! We took a high school soccer team and they accommodated us with a smile and speed!
Had sandwiches here after a day of shopping. Service was lacking and the food was appetizing enough. I feel as though I regret my choice in pie, chocolate peanut was a bit heavier for my palette.
Food was good, service was poor. I would have given it a 0 rating if I could. One worker commented loud enough for us to hear, "Maybe I should yell. GET OUT. " this was 30 plus minutes before they closed. Bathrooms were also closed before the restaurant closed. We were spoken to 4 times. What do you want? Is that all? Here is your change. And, who had the chicken salad. We love to shop local but we will not support this establishment ever again. Very sad.
Sandwich is decent and the soup was okay. Servings small but cheap as well. Dessert (Coconut Pie) was most excellent and main reason for 4 star rating. It was light and airy with the coconut nice and sublime. Meringue was roasty, light and slightly sweet. Well done.
This is a Sandwich Shop/Bakery. They make the best Sandwiches on homemade bread and the best cakes to take home or order for birthdays, weddings, etc.
I had heard all the good things about this place and was very disappointed in the pies, store bought crusts and over cooked at that. The meringue is gorgeous to look at but had no flavor, no sweetness and mostly cream of tartar taste. The pies I tried were lemon and coconut, both were bitter, not much sweet taste to them. I won’t be going back.
Inside is nothing to rave about but the food is good with fair prices and their pies are very good. Recommend.
Cheese broccoli soup was great! Our girls complained that there was too much peanut butter on their sandwiches, but that's just a preference. There weren't any other kid friendly choices available. They were out of baked potatoes at 2pm.
All of the pies and cheesecakes are amazing. The sandwiches are a must and the soup is excellent! Definitely a FAV!
Poor customer service. 2: 30pm, cashier said they were out of potatoes, and I saw several potatoes being served after my order. I ordered two salads, somehow got only one. Did not feel welcome at all
