Great community complex to live.neighbors are very friendly and help each other.one of the best and quick service and maintenance.maintenance team here is very professional and provide quality of service.

Lived for four years here in camden Valley Park, Irving Tx. I will start from Positive. Maintance staff is quick in response and does job what it has to do. I lived here for long time as it was conveniently located nearby school. Having said that in other aspects they donot value residents. Put unjustified costs and never give you a hearing when you raise concern. Manadatory TV and Internet Charges (No freedom to choose provider) is another stigma that residents have to live with. If you try to leave before lease (lease break), you have to give and pay two months Notice and One month Cancellation fee. So in total 3 months rent+ extortion charges they put as a surprise afte you move out. Living four years will have the normal usage of almost everything. They never cleaned in beween renewals but at the end charged cleaming fee though I left apartment very clean. When I moved in, they said carpet will be replaced in one year, but carpet was not replaced so obviously once I moved out, you have to remove and renew carpet (should be in use more than 6 years). Then why charging me cleaning fee over and above that. Before I moved out they send man to take kitchen drawer sizes and told me that they are going to redesign kithcen once I move out (I can figure that out from the new kitchen design that they have posted on camden website. So they are replacing everything in kitchen but is it on my cost. I see a bill of 380$ to replace with a note of - Replaced kitchen and bathroom countertops due to water damage. There was no water damage when I left and in last year they never pointed out while i raised maintanance request that there is any damage. Now when they have to redesign, they will extract money from resident who is moving out, lived there for four years and paid all dues on time. Then they add huge amount over and above of lease breakage charges (Reletting - Rent Response Charge Dev Moved out 21 days early from NTV- $824.06). I have already paid full month rent then why this extra charge and this charge was never mentioned to me even when I constantly interchanging messages from the manager about date I will handover keys. In the tough times when everyone should lookout of others, Camden is busy making money from resident. This goes to Michael Thornhill (Manager) to whom I have written again and again to review charges. Again one positive -maintance staff is awesome. Management needs to be relooked on.

They are thrives they told me I have to pay because my bank rejected there payment but they lied about that. Very bad business people here.

I was not satisfied with my stay in this place. The primary reason was above tenants — I could very easily hear them walking around the unit. Sometimes I could not even sleep properly and I couldn't quite tell if they were doing this on purpose (probably they just didn't care and honestly they don't have to - it's a building issue). This problem would have been solved if I had moved to the upper most units. As expected, some of the staff can be very friendly when you're about to sign a lease, but beyond that I wasn't impressed with their responsiveness to more serious problems like the noise from the tenant above since a complaint I made early on was basically ignored (I may have also had a staff member hang up on me when they realized who I was when I needed to cancel my lease). I will not give this place simply 1 star due to Dustin, who was very understanding and easy to talk to.

I left a horrid review before but deleted it. Out of ignorance, I stated that this place was no good and overcharged. However, I had not realized why that was done. Pure ignorance. We played phone tag back and forth and haven’t been able to speak over the phone. However, Dustin was diligent and explained things a few times. He stayed patient even when I was rude.

If management sees this, I’d like to apologize for how I reacted!

Good community to live, the maintenance team is amazing, they always respond and solve any problems in no time. The 2 negative feedback = Getting bit pricey compared to the neighborhood rental properties. Also they never change the floor carpets on someone moving out, unlike other properties in the neighborhood. Other than that just great.

Stayed there for an Year,
In One Line Best In Maintenance but very very Worst in SECURITY.

Staffs are Good - Only issue with them is they won't hear if we talk about security.

Considering Security is priority I given one star. (For Maintenance Camden is always 5*) - 4/18/2018 Updated rating. As Camden managment hearing and taken steps to resolve the security issues.

Can easily hear louder sounds from next door rest room and especially in the middle of the night i am really getting frustrated. Please fix this the rent i am paying is not worth for this experience.

I moved into Valley Park for my very first apartment. I am a Camden employee, but I chose this location and community due to the positive feel of it as a whole. I was considering between multiple communities & the deciding factor was the townhouses they offer. Maintenance has been very fast, and efficient even explaining things to me about where my reset switch was. The office personnel are awesome, and thorough which is a very important thing to me. They are also very friendly towards my dog and don't mind her barking even though I know it's annoying. Michael is a great manager, and is very proactive about handling issues and things going on with our community. There seem to be a lot of bad reviews but I'm not sure why, it's quiet, clean, and a relaxed place to be. There is nothing negative ever going on that I've acknowledged. One thing to keep in mind when reading these reviews are that EVERY single apartment you go to will occasionally have crime, it's just how it is. It's all about how the community handles it as a whole, and I feel they do a great job at that. I feel completely safe as a girl who lives by herself. I recommend and it's in a great location with a bunch of floor plans! Check it out!

I’ve read the recent reviews that blame Camden Mgmt for burglaries and not maintaining a safe place to live. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve lived here for 3 years and have never had an issue and I am a female that also walks at night with my dogs and have never felt unsafe in the complex or in the neighborhood for that matter. Actually the only time I’ve felt unsafe is when the foreign people who live here (not all) drive too fast in the parking lot or let their kids play in it.

The only one responsible for your safety is you. If you want a camera system put one in your apartment. They sell them online for about 150. Pay attention to your surroundings. Take a self defense class. Teach your kids to not play in the parking lots.

Management has been always attentive. Maintenance team is great. I honestly really care about Roberto, Manuel, and I believe the other one that’s gone above and beyond is John.

As far as roaches go. I have never seen one in my apartment. They come from grocery store bags especially paper ones.

One final word if this is the worst society in the US that you have ever lived I’d remind you it’s predominantly your people in this community not the other way around. You create your perspective no one else. I live in a wonderful neighborhood minus a few whiny entitled neighbors.

I’m looking for my first apartment and I’m highly considering this place. But the constant comments about break ins worry me. I’m asking the people who currently live in the complex are they working on getting things like security and gates at least?

So far so good! But due to old construction my heating is not upto the mark! I having trouble to manage the older version of thermostat! Also free open parking is not available nearby sometimes.hence had to look around. It's good for small to medium term living but pricing is quite better and competitive as per local rates!

As far as management goes, Michael is excellent as well as everyone else in the office. Definitely recommend!

Seems safe. Lots of kids playing outside. Decent looking place. The roads need to be redone. So many cracks, a visual turn off. A couple of small bugs slipping through the cracks of windows and doors. The place creaks when wind blows. I’m paying >$900 base for 3rd floor 1b/1b. They could use some security cameras every other building and some gates. I wish they didn’t charge for technology package. I’d rather choose my own provider and package. Front desk people are nice and seem to care, especially Dustin.

Management is very friendly and excellent service but you should come with ADT or something similar home security service otherwise you will be assaulted some day by burglars. You will see very frequent apartment break ins during holiday season in this camden valley park apt community.

These days not gud. Crime increase, management is not responsible for residents safety. So if u can afford ur own safety like couple of cameras, some door rod or touch censor etc then may be nice community to stay. Maintenance staff but I would say is best though.

This is so bad about the Leasing Management, when someone gives the good feedback about management they respond, but i have seen lot of people reviewed about burglars, safety, security you guys didn't even respond so you guys wont care about the safety of human beings.thats not at all fair, if someone hurts, are you guys not responsible and you wont care off their life.its really bad.

Camden Valley Park has been my home here in Irving for many years. The staff has changed over the years but they have always been personable, attentive, and welcoming.
Things break as they always do, but they are prompt in getting things fixed and in working order. They treat the property as their home and make sure it is a nice place to live.
It is situated close to the airport but not close enough that the noise is a problem. It is easy to jump on a freeway and head to Dallas or Fort Worth. And there are movie theaters, grocery stores and a wide variety of shops and restaurants nearby.
It is also located to several Irving amenities such as a great library branch, community pool and community center. These are all within walking or biking distance.

Want to kill roaches first thing in the morning before work and immediately when you get home? Repeated treatments from management have done nothing. Enjoy having your car damaged by swarms of yelling children also!

I wont recommend this apartment.its not worth they charge the rent. Lotttt of roaches. Not sure what Pest control team does. They will try to blames us.

Good Point: Maintenance team is really good. Fast response.
