Candlewood Suites San Antonio NW near SeaWorld

Andrew works at the Front desk and so nice, he truly takes care of the customer going above and beyond. We had an issue with our room he came to our room and escorted us to a new room. The tub drained slow so he brought the maintenance guy up and they cleared the drain. He was just wonderful. This is the first time in a hotel where I felt like we were treated as Family. I will definitely stay here again just because of Andrew.

Children in other rooms run AROUND in rooms early in the mornings around 0100 hrs and 0400 hrs. Complaining to the receptionist and work people of the hotel and getting no results and they ignoring complaints. Thanks.

Room wasn’t bad. It was clean. As far as service, its an extended stay hotel so only once ever 7 days for house keeping unless you ask, as normal for these types of hotels. 3 stars because the pleather furniture needs to be replaced.

Older hotel. More hours are needed for housekeeping. Some areas are obviously skipped like shower drains.
Furniture was peeling so it was very unpleasant.
Room was an okay size although listed as a suite. Area was nice where the hotel was located. Staff was helpful.

Beds were comfy and fully stocked kitchen was nice.overall a 3 stars for the furniture. But it was a good stay. Pool hours need to be long but it was a clean.

This hotel is dirty. I mean gross. It didn't appear to be vacuumed, there was a used Kleenex in the bathroom, there was food splattered all over the microwave, bits all over the floor I the bedroom/kitchen/bathroom/living area, splatter on the toilet, stains on the chairs/couch, and lipstick stains on the pillows.

Don’t even think about staying up till check out time “12: 00” the staff will hound you over the phone at eleven trying to get you out

The rooms are great and the staff was very helpful and polite.stayed for a week and will be back.

Excellent service! Andrew was great at assisting me with all my needs. Very clean room, laundry facility onsite which was very convenient for me and it was free. Game bores and snacks available.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Took the time to explain all accommodations. Front desk had dog biscuits for our fur friends. Even had a nice little dog walk for them. Clean gym and laundry facilities. I will be returning here.

Great service.very nice rooms, comfortable beds. Has a kitchen cabinets, silverware, glasses, electric stove, refer with ice maker, even pop corn. Has a grill outside for cook outs. That's amazing. They have dvd movies free to view. Close to Sea World.
Good price.pet friendly.
My family loved it.
We will stay again here next visit.

Stayed here two weeks so far, two more weeks to go. Rooms are clean, full size refrigerator, dish washer. Room is comfortable, truck parking if you don't mind jumping a curb, Swimming pool and Restaurants within walking distance. There is a lot of road construction but traffic hasn't been too bad.

Had a very pleasant overnight stay with my family! Asked for extra blankets and recieved them very quickly. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The room we were in had it's own microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, stove, and more. Also noticed they have their own gym downstairs, although we didn't use it. Overall, great!

Have stayed here for a couple months. Very military friendly and extremely nice. Also the internet speed is flawless.

Enjoying my stay here. Room is clean. My only complaints are that it's not billing out as explained. And I can't walk around my room without my feet turning black. Carpets in the room kinda icky. Everything else is very clean and fresh. Weekly room service. But can take linens and towels down to exchange at any time. Overall happy with my stay so far!

Andrew in the front desk welcomes you right away and makes you feel comfortable, he will assist you with any of your needs and will go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. He is one heck of a guy and will take care of you while you stay at the candlewood suites, hope he gets recognized for his dedication.

I love candelwood suites. And there is nothing wrong with this particular hotel, aside from being directly next to a club that blasts music all through the night. Which completely ruins any chance of enjoying your stay.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. The site said free continental breakfast.none. They didn't even pick up your towels! Things you would expect most hotels to do for you.not here. Do yourselves a favor and stay somewhere else.you welcome.

Great location and customer service. Rooms are old and we only had hot water for 1 of 4 nights.during the winter! This place needs to get renovated. The staff here is great. Very close to anything you want in the local area.

Location is easy on and off from main hwy/roads; close to Starbucks and fast foods. The rooms are clean and maintained but nothing fancy. The stock in the rooms was up to date, as far as coffee/popcorn etc. Ice maker worked in fridge and very quickly. No large icemaker on site, also no breakfast or coffee other than what is provided in room. There is a "cupboard" you can purchase from and pets are welcome for a $15 fee (;we were reimbursed via points for the fee.) The guy at check in was very helpful and informative.

This isn't a fancy hotel, so if you come here expecting to be wowed, you'll be let down, but it's comfortable for an extended stay and millions time better than lodging at LAFB. It was worth the money for the quality and the staff was AMAZING! I'd come back just for them specifically. Ashley, Andrew and Yesenia especially were all extremely nice and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and remembered who we were. I didn't catch the name of the housekeeper that serviced our room, as she didn't speak English and we only opted to use housekeeping once since we cleaned ourselves for the 3 wks that we were there.

The hotel itself could use a little updating, but all in all, in was a pleasant stay. And the fact that they offer use of their laundry room for no charge is something that helped us out quite a bit.
