On a few occasions I have dealt with Ralph. This guy is solid, helpful and does his best to address your issues and concerns. I had one small issue with some equipment I bought and he took care of it right away. This location is the ONLY location I will go to as it has people staffed there that actually are capable, knowledgeable and all around know what they are doing. The rest of the car toys locations (Plano, Frisco, Mesquite) I had nothing but problems with. Either they ignored me or they would just be severely unprofessional. It was at one of these locations in Plano that I met Ralph. He was filling in for the day there and it was the ONLY time in Plano I was treated with respect and got what I needed. I am thankful he told me he worked in the Irving location. It is a drive for me but it is worth it. I only wish I could spend more money to make up for all the help Ralph has given me. If you want a solid location that WILL DO A GREAT JOB and take care of you, the Irving location is where you go. All the guys are great there, ALL OF THEM. The rest of the car toys locations should take a hint from the Irving store.

Brought Chevy Silverado in for a Kill Switch installation and throughout the process they cracked my dash board and tried to lie. They then admitted to being at fault. Not only is the cracked dash a driving hazard but it also goes to show how reckless they are when installing products.

Very enjoyable experience while shopping at Car Toys. I wanted to upgrade my car stereo system but was totally clueless on what I needed. Marshall was very courteous and very helpful. He found the right product at the right price. Thanks to Troy for doing a same day install in a very timely manner. Overall, I would recommend the awesome staff at this location.

Spent the morning at Irving Cartoys with Bruce. I was very impressed with his customer service. He made sure all of my issues were addressed and spent more than sufficient time with me despite the store phone ringing and multiple customers walking in the shop. I left the store well please. Rare thing to have fun while spending all your money! Bruce made today’s trip well worth it and shout out to the install team. Job well done.

We had a great experience installing Apple CarPlay in a 2000 Jeep. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating! Bruce and Chung made sure we were satisfied customers. We will be back with future vehicles!

VERY POOR SERVICE AND STAFF LIES. VISIT OTHER PLACES FOR YOUR AUDIO AND ANY DETAIL NEEDS. ONLY 1 STAR CAUSE I HAD TO PICK ONE. I'D GIVE THEM 0 STAR IF AN OPTION.

I had 3oclock appointment they told me it would take about 2 hours I come back at 5 they haven't start yet just for speakers. Bad Buisness F Rating.

They had to replace a sub in my 2007 Lexus LS460, which is hands down the hardest rear deck to crack into, and had me jamming out the door in just over an hour. Great job guys. No more rattling sub.

I’ve been to CarToys in Irving quite a few times over the past few months. What started off as a simple install had turned into a full blown audio upgrade of the system inside of my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Michael, Christian, and the rest of the team members have been extremely helpful the entire way. I’ve had a sub, amp, and a DSP installed along with Dynamat installed in damn near every square inch of the SUV that they could cover. My system sounds amazing and everything has been fairly priced. Yes, I could have gone to a small mom and pop shop, but I believe in paying a premium (within reason!) for quality. Quality is what has been delivered the entire time. You can tell the team they have there is a close knit bunch, so it definitely feels like a mom and pop shop, despite being a major chain. I’ve known about the CarToys brand since high school (I’m 34 now) and they continue to live up to their reputation, largely because of the people located in this specific branch. Keep up the good work guys! You know I’ll be back soon. The bug has bitten and extra hard this time.

They were very helpful and the staff is very nice and professional. They didn’t try to cheat me out of money because I was coming to get speakers and even though I asked for a whole lot of extra stuff I didn’t need they talked me out of it because I didn’t need. The installation and big car detail were perfect my car looks like a brand new car and sounds wonderful

There's a reason this place only had 3.6 stars they suck and installation is sky high. You pay more for installation than you do the actual product

I had to give a star in order to post this or else there would be no stars. This will be a long story that will put me in a bad mood once again just reliving it! I work for the City of Irving, live an hour from there, so on my lunch hour I decided to go to Car Toys thinking they would know what they are doing and would get me the correct equip.for my new truck. Well did I think wrong! I tell them my info about my truck so I can get a harness for my touch screen stereo, they quote me $150, I'm floored by the price! They said and I quote "There not $20 like they used to be! " Two people were assisting me, they asked if I had steering wheel controls, I said no, then they said well you need this kit if you want your chimes to work for your doors, blinkers, etc.so I said ok. Left to pick up food, called my cuz who has worked on radios, cars for 30 years, he is a certified mechanic at Nath Specialty Coatings & Paint-Auto in Mansfield. He said you need a dash kit too, so I went back to Car Toys & bought a $50 kit. Turns out when I get to my cuz place so he could install, Car Toys sold me the wrong parts! Now I have to drive from Mansfield to Arlington Car Toys off of Arbrook 30 miles round trip to get the correct dash kit. Got back & my cuz said it is the wrong harness too! Drove another 30 miles to Car Toys pissed off to exchange the harness. Turns out the harness Irving sold me I could have paid $50 for since I don't have the steering wheel controls! Now I am livid! Also turns out looks like they are out of that part at least that is what Mason at the Arlington location said & it would take a week to get it in. I said my truck is torn apart I want it down today I've already gone through all this hassle! Mason said he would discount it gave me $26 back. Can you believe that only $26 back when Irving should have sold me the correct harness for $50 not scam me for $150! He said well it turns out we may not have it here, it shows we have one but I can't find it maybe it is being installed he said! Getting more frustrated! Mason comes back with a damn harness that is in a zip lock bag! I said what the hell, I don't want a used harness especially a $150 one that I don't need! He said then you have to wait a week, I said just give it to me but make sure it is all there b/c I am not coming back! Guess what folks, it wasn't all there! The chime module was missing, not only that the harness seemed to not be holding memory once we programed the stations and bass! I called Mason explaining the situation, he said well I can't just take one out of a box I'll have to see what I can do, then he hung up on me without saying bye! Mason calls me back & says he can get me one at no cost, I said you better ship it to me b/c I have already wasted 60 miles of gas! Not to mention the Irving trip! Mason did ship the part but now I will never go to Car Toys again! Horrible service. Car Toys if you want to make this right you find me on FB

Went to have some stuff done to my bike and the customer service was excellent mike and Matt took the time to explain what the best route would be and the rest of the staff treated us well I will be a customer and would refer folks to go there they made ya feel like the customer is important

I came in to have a new car stereo installed. Michael was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose something that I wanted. He even changed all the settings for me since I am technology stupid / impatient. Installation was quick while I sipped on Margaritas at the restaurant across the parking lot! I will come back when I'm ready for more toys.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They were able to hard-wire my camera in my vehicle as requested. It took a little longer than expected, but no complaints so far.

Great experience with the team at the Irving CarToys. Everyone was very professional and helpful.
