CareNow Urgent Care - Carrollton

I visited CareNow because of a work related injury. Dr Um and Dr Lee were amazing and that’s an understatement. Thorough, Professional and Hospitable. Everyone at this Carrollton location treated me with courtesy and respect. Thank you CareNow for making my experience there perfect.

Staff was friendly and caring also very fast and efficient had covid-19 and flu test back in minutes very pleased with the whole experience

Rude staff. They make you feel like they are in a hurry to get you out - and that doesn’t mean a short wait. I probably only had 6 total minutes of conversation in the almost 2 hours I was there. You can hear them talking about patients including yourself in the back. Doctor cut me off when I tried to discuss my symptoms. I had questions and they didn’t give me an opportunity to ask them. So I am leaving in pain with no answers and no solution.

For a place that wasn’t all that busy at the time, seemed like I waited a little longer than usual just to take a simple urinalysis.slightly dingy with the restroom in mind in my opinion. Not too bad overall it’s just not one of my top places to choose from.

Went for covid-19 testing on Wednesday February 10th still waiting on results however very rude and very uninformed staff. Website states you will get an email from the lab that will be performing the testing and that is not correct at all as you will need to download another app to see your test results. Nurse is extremely rude when it comes to answering any questions. I can just imagine how you will be treated if you have an actual emergency. Stay Away and just go somewhere else.

Update 3/8/21

Was charged for a covid-19 test $205 on 2/11/21 which was paid by my insurance company Aetna. I am still waiting for my refund which I had to request on 3/2/21 but to this date it has not been processed even after 5 business days. Called today and I was told that it could be up to a month to get my refund which I think is just unacceptable.

Staff was excellent and extremely courteous, took time to walk through what was going on with me, listened completely to my issues, and was very gentle with my injured limb. If you've got an injury this is certainly the care now to go to.

Terrible place. My wife had an infection of some sort on her leg. We checked, and they're open until 9PM. I reserved a check-in online. When she got there at 8: 33, they told her that, regardless of what their hours are on the website, they won't see you unless you're inside at 8: 30pm.

That's right. They lock the door half an hour before closing time and if you need a doctor, that's not their problem.

Calling corporate tomorrow. Won't go back there and won't recommend them to anyone again. There's a reason they have 3.5 stars - they're a bad urgent care. If it' possible to go anywhere else, you should.

Came here just for a drug test. Their waiting time is ridiculous! I just have to pee in a cup that's it. I didn't take time to complete their paperwork at all. I can't understand why they are taking so long. I have been siting here for almost 2 hrs now.

I did the web checkin. All staff was amazing! Front desk was so helpful with my web check in. The wait was short. My nurse Katie was so kind and happy to help. My provider was so knowledgeable. Overall my experience was great. I recommend to anyone!

I came here yesterday for a little non-emergency, and I have to say this CareNow was very helpful and professional. The web check in is extremely convenient, honestly every urgent care or hospital should do this. I saw Dr. Paul and he was one of the friendliest doctors I've ever met. He was thorough in the care he provided, and made sure I had any question or concerns addressed.

If I ever have another issue that needs attending to quickly, I'll definitely come back to this Carenow.

We prefer to go to this Care Now over our PCP. It's always clean and quick and you feel like a patient, rather that just a number. The staff is always friendly and accommodating!

No point in web checkin. I'm still waiting.been over 30 minutes. Could've been at home relaxing. If you're gonna call and tell me you have a room ready, then I expect to walk in and go straight to my room. They are HORRIBLE. Might as well just walked in. Apparently I'm waiting the same time

To describe them in one word: lazy.

Went in and waited an hour to get help. Then they took a sample and prescribed antibiotics for something without knowing for certain what I had. Two weeks later, after calling every other day about "where's my results? " they finally tell me they never sent in the test to begin with.

Reasonable wait time after check-in including paperwork, especially if first time patient Got seen by a friendly nurse and doc during a reasonable amount of time. Satisfied with the care.

I came here for a routine pre employment drug screening. I had to wait for over 2 hours to be seen. If you are in need of medical services I wouldn’t not recommend this location.

Told me one wait time and then it kept getting longer and longer because they are understaffed. Terrible service.

Had a great experience here today. The facility was neat and clean and well kept, the process was seamless (I recommend the online checkin for less time waiting), the staff was caring and well-informed, the Doctor saw me in a very timely manner and the treatment was exactly as I had expected, and checkout was a breeze. Would highly recommend this location.

This is the worse experience I had, I waited for 2 and a half hours just to get a physical exam.go to your regular doctor, its not worth it to waste 2 1/2 hours of your time

The doctors and nurses are the worst I cannot get anyone to call me back to discuss my blood work result, or to prescribe me my diabetes medication. It’s been over a month and nothing, every time I call there busy and no one is available to help me.

Dr checked me 3 hours later, prescribed medicine that did not make me well. Called back days later, nurse said she will talk to Dr and get back to me. She did not. Next day I called again, clerk brushed me off.

This is bad place.

They just take money, and overcharge to prescribe cold medicine.
