CareNow Urgent Care - Keller reviews
26Waited two hours for them to tell me they couldn’t see me cause I already had Covid which was the first thing I told them and called before online check in to make sure they could see me with Covid. Ridiculous
They were really wonderful with my autistic son when he had to get stitches. Will use any time we need an urgent care.
They left me waiting and even after I asked to stand just outside the glass door so I could breathe better she said she would write I refused the pre-employment drug screening that I was sent here to take. How embarrassing for anyone in the medical field to not use critical thinking.the lady here is EXTREMELY difficult
They did everything possible to keep me from going to the ER. Absolutely amazing doctor, nurses, and staff. Thank you all so very much!
My families Keller Urgent care experience was absolutely horrendous! Web Check-In wasn’t working, drove to the center, was told the web check-in was taken taken down due to a shortage of nurses. Which I understand during a pandemic. Put my name on the waiting list, I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half to get a call back for our appointment. 4 hours later they called back. Once we arrived we got right in which was good. The appointment was for my son who we believe had allergies, with a sore throat. Anyway for $500 I got a Covid test which was positive and a blood pressure check, and a
Blood oxygen level check. $500 that’s how much it cost me here at the urgent care at 377 and BearCreek. The Doctor was very unprofessional, along with the nursing staff. They charged my son who is special needs and on medicaid insurance $500 because they said the did take his insurance. Thank god he has a family that helps him out, because that would have been all the money he had for the months to live on. Do not ever go here.
Friendly, attentive front desk. Triage was quick and the Nurse Practitioner, Adjoa, provided excellent care. If you need stitches, she is the one you want to have helping you.
Dr John Myers was awesome. He was thorough in his assessment of my 8year old’s symptoms. He easily diagnosed a fracture whereas The Keller Baylor freestanding ER diagnosed it as a sprain (brutal).
Can’t say enough good things about this place.got in fast, friendly staff, treated quickly and effectively. Thanks to all who helped!
Spent 2 hours here and was unable to get a solution. Never returning, just go to Medspring down the street next time.
We went to get a physical and it was a 4 hour wait so we went home and came back when they called. Even when we got here we waited about 30 minutes before getting a room and had to wait in the room for An hour and a half! Horrible service will never be back.
DOT physicals need to have appointment times available rather than being walk-in only. I waited over 100 minutes in an exam room waiting for a available doctor and unable to work (paid by the hour). They were also slow to process my worker compensation paperwork, which delayed my treatment and return to work. Money down the drain, even when it’s “paid for. ”
They are soooooooo slow, they called my friend to the back and they literally took 2 hrs just to tell my friend that she had a sinus infection and I watched several people that came in after us go in and out with out.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I REPEAT AVOID AVOID AVOID! The lady working inside told us the follow up visit is $0, but after the visit they told us its $150 for office visit which consisted of re dressing the wound. These people are nothing but FRAUDS! The other reviews regarding their incompetent staff are point on. Again avoid at all costs.
Had to dispute with insurance company about a charge, when I specifically told the girl at the front I probably have to pay because I was sure I had not met my deductible. Well turns out I did have to pay! You better pay quick if not their creditors will harass your dead family members! I will be glad when I pay them off. The harassing phone calls are ridiculous!
Dr. Michael Cook is the best doctor at this location and in this area. Please ask to be seen by him if you get a choice. He explained and answered very clearly and help brought down my worry. Again, Dr. Michael Cook.
The front desk staff very carrying and understanding; the nurses incredibly sweet, and the doctor very easy to talk to. If I ever have another emergency, by far, Care Now is always going to be my first choice:)
Good Doctors, Terrible billing department. They told us they accept our insurance for a $50 co-pay. Turns out they don't so now they say we owe them $140. How is this my problem? Your incompetent office staff does not know what insurance you accept, so now I owe money? What a load BS!
I have been going to this CareNow site for years. I have always been treated with kindness and great care. They truly care about each individual. The entire staff was at the clinic past 11: 00 pm on my last visit so that they could see every patient that was sick. I asked the staff how long they have been doing this and a staff member told me three weeks! Thank you to all the staff for caring so much about what you do. I can only imagine what flu season is like for you right now.
Christmas Eve and they were kind and very helpful when I was aching so bad from the flu. So much faster than waiting for my primary care doctor.
It doesn't matter what time you go it's a 2 hour wait to see a doctor. Today I was there when they opened and not a single person in the waiting room or parking lot and they said 2-2.5 hour wait. What are they doing? It's worth it to go to any other other care even if it's out of the way. I drove across town and was seen, treated, and discharged in 15 mins which is how an urgent care should be.
