CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels

We had a great experience in the E. R.very attentative even when they were pack. Friendly staff. Answered all questions. Soon as family member moved upstairs, then care was pretty much nonexistent. Nurse Ratchet wouldn't even step inside the room. Grandpa get meds 4 times a day. They only gave him meds 1 time a day. They gave him breathing treatment and left the oxygen and mask on him for 6 hours! He didn't know he could take it off. Pathetic. Reallly? That's crappy care. His food would sit outside 2 plus hours before they fed him. We were sick also with sick babies so it has been hard to leave a family member with him all the time.

I highly recommend having someone to help care for your elderly loved one because they will not get it here.

I was so optimistic because the 1st day of care was great at the E. R. Maybe if he would have had a better day nurses, care could have been better. But ultimately it is the Doctors and Administration who are in charge of care.

My advice, use caution and be extremely proactive if you use this hospital.

My dog clipped my daughter’s lip while playing and it required stitches. We were afraid that she’d have have plastic surgery later. But the ER doctor carefully aligned the lip and put in three stitches. It healed perfectly. You cant even see a scar.

Dad taken from Kirkwood Manor to Christus ER. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Dad was admitted and again staff exemplary. One of the cleanest hospitals I've ever seen. Well done and Thank You.

This hospital is horrible from its staff all the way to it’s rude doctor I dealt with! I was treated like if i was in the ER because i wanted to just waste their time and as if i really had wanted to go in the first place. Then the lack of professionalism if I can hear you talking about basically saying I didn’t have this happen to me or making a joking manner that I have something else wrong with me. The doctor as well saying “ let me go handle this problem “. I was asked repeatedly to get a ct scan which I refused and it’s my legal right not to. I’ll never go back to this hospital ever. I was brought to the hospital by ems I always go to resolute they treat you so much better and actually care. Funny how I was transferred to another hospital thru treated me better and were able to figure out what happened

Nurses were fantastic and very caring. This is a baby friendly hospital so all the nurses were very knowledgeable and helpful with breastfeeding but not pushy.

There was a time that their service's were way below standards, but Now they have improved soooo much! Very attentive and polite. They actually care for you instead of treating as a thing on an assembly line. Very satisfied with them keep up the Great work
