Clay Cooley Chevrolet, Irving TX

I am BEYOND DISGUSTED with the level of service and the disrespect that was shown at the Clay Cooley Chevrolet dealership in Irving.

My dad, my cousin and myself had an appointment at 10: 30am today to purchase a white 2017 Chevy Malibu. The car was sent from another dealership in Dallas, and the dealership in Dallas called us three time (the past three days) informing us that the car had been sent and delivered to Clay Cooley Chevrolet in Irving. They called the day of the appointment (this morning) to make sure we were still planning to attend our appointment, and to see if we still wanted to buy the car. We told them yes.

When we arrived to the Clay Cooley dealership, we explained our situation of coming to purchase a car via a trade in and the salesman, Edwin Cruz, told us the car was indeed on the lot, and asked if he could just have our keys to check the current car that we had. We waited OVER AN HOUR for Mr. Cruz to come back and speak with us and he never did. We walked outside because we thought we saw the Malibu that we came for, but it ended up being a different car.

Mr. Cruz finally came back to us with his colleague, only to tell us that the car we came to buy had been sold. His only explanation was that he didn’t know it had been sold. Neither he nor his colleague apologized, or even offered us other options. They simply let us walk out of the dealership. After what we experienced, we didn’t even want to bother doing business there. We left and drove to the Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine.

On our way there, we were shocked to come across several reviews from others who had experienced similar situations at Clay Cooley in Irving. When we arrived at Classic Chevrolet, we not only purchased a car, we were told that we were their third buyer TODAY to have come from a Clay Cooley dealership after having an unpleasant experience.

That alone says a lot, and I can tell you right now, I will never shop Clay Cooley ever again. At Classic, we were greeted by multiple salesmen with smiles, firm handshakes and down to earth personalities. We were never kept waiting, they did not string us along and several times during our time there, they reminded us that they would do the best they could to get us what we wanted.

Clay Cooley Chevrolet in Irving will do and say anything to lure you to the dealership. They do not care about your time, your wants or your expectations. All they are looking to do is sell you a new car. I do not advise anyone who values their time and experience when I comes to looking for a car, to shop the Clay Cooley Chevrolet dealership in Irving.

I went in today, just looking, and came out with a wonderful car! Mo was great! He found a car that fit my budget and that I loved! The finance department was also amazing. They made the process quick and easy. I will definitely be back in the future!:)

I had a wonderful experience with them. I was from out of the state and had issues with my car. Joe was amazing. He got my car in asap. Fixed it and I was on my way. Joe was very personal and very helpful. He was a lifesaver for me. I can't thank him enough for what he did. THANK YOU JOE for everything.

John and Ryan did a great job working with me on a vehicle, ultimately just disappointed on the miscommunication between myself and the manager on a final sales price.

Bobby was great and understood what I was looking for and wanted. He didn't play any of those salesman games and very helpful to get me into what I needed and wanted. And Joselyn in service took care of my truck. When parts didn't show up, she was on the phone locating them to make sure they got put on by the time I was promised they would return my truck. Awesome job to the team at Clay Cooley Chevrolet.

The Clay Cooley Crew went beyond my expectations and got me and my situation worked out. I left with my 2018 Chevrolet Trax LT.

The experience was very very good. The sales person Terry was very helpful and he had a lot of knowledge of the business. I would recommend anyone to Clay Cooley!

Worst customer service ever. The salesmen we worked with was absolutely disrespectful. We continued telling him we did not want certain vehicles and he would keep going and pulling them up, stretching out the process- time of having to be there. Please avoid this place, they abosouluty do not care how they talk to you and try and scam you around by not showing you the numbers of what your buying.

If I could give a worse survey I would. They called meh back two weeks later saying I need to do a interview then said we failed the interview like we don’t know who we are. They was lying about all type of stuff before we even took the car. Worst salesmen ever terry and Allen. Then the finance guy said we did it on purpose. I was told to return the car which I have no problem doing. Now they won’t give meh my money back.
