I went in to look at bags and maybe a tripod. They were very helpful without being pushy at all. Let me take my time and gave me information when I needed it. I walked out with a bag, tripod and new lens. They've earned all of my future business.

Eugene and his father Ramsey are the best resource for any photography or videography needs in DFW. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted like an old friend, always taken care of, prices are unbeatable and knowledge is unmatched. If they don’t have what you want in store, they go above and beyond to get you what you are looking for in a very timely fashion. Anytime I call or email, I get a fast reply, even on social media like their Facebook.

This is a top notch one stop shop for all photography needs. You will find anything you’re looking for from the camera to the lenses, accessories, lights and light modifiers, backdrops, etc. Competitive cameras is THE go to store in DFW for any serious or hobbyist photographer - no contest.

I'm sorry there is no way to give them 6 stars. Fantastic customer service. I explained my problem-going to the arctic in a few weeks to photograph polar bears. I needed a special impossible to get lens on short notice-they got it for me. I'm knowledgeable about my photo needs so a quick online order is easy. But online can't give this kind of service so I will buy everything I can from competitive, because they are more than competitive, they are superb. And they have a large, large stock to boot and fun store to browse for all those little accessories that every photo bug just can't do without.

I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D7500, from Amazon. After shooting 35mm film for 50 years, I had to go back to grade school to learn how to use the thing. Then I found Competitive Camera via the internet and now wish I had bought my camera there. They are great! Helpful, educational, and they direct me to what works best for my requirements without any pressure! Now I'm in the market for a 500 or 600mm zoom, so I'll be going there in a few weeks to get their suggestions and to buy it!

Competitive Cameras is my favorite camera shop in DFW and I’m happy to make the 30 minute drive. Their customer service, advice and attention to detail are worth it. I have them clean my camera and calibrate my lenses regularly and they are both expeditious and accurate. Whenever I need to rent gear, I go to CC because their rental policies are generous and they’re happy to show me how to use anything I’m not familiar with. I appreciate their expertise!

Very pleased with this camera shop! They were very helpful and accommodating. I was calling camera shops around the United States looking for a Nikon D850 and they had them! They shipped me the camera in 3 days. If you're looking for a D850 I believe they have a few left so give them a shout!
