Nothing but great experiences with this office. Quick to get appointments when needed and Dr. Mclain is absolutely amazing and you can tell she genuinely cares about children. They have a few hoops to go through as a new patient but nothing out of the ordinary or absurd. Being a part of Cooks Children’s has great benefits as well. We used the urgent care in Fort Worth and they did a great job getting my son diagnosed and preparing me for his care plan.
Find another provider. We went for a while but the service quality has declined because of over-booking other patients and their billing department is out of control. We would pay for the visit at the time of service and then randomly get phantom Bills in the mail. Stay away. You will probably have a better experience with most any other provider.
We have been going to Cook's Burleson for a year. Dr. Smith was recommend by our delivery doctor and she is great. The nurses are very accommodating and there is rarely a wait longer than 10 minutes, even if we show up early. The only complaint that I have is whoever answers the phone can be very rude. My wife and I call to see if the issue our son is having warrants a visit, and she just treats our calls like it is a hassle for her to do her job. Staff is great except for the person screening calls.
