Cortland Spring Cypress

I’ve lived here a year and it’s a nice apartment. The hallways however are filthy and it’s embarrassing to have company. This complex allows RV parking, because there is a huge 34 ft fifth wheel trailer right outside my patio. It is here very often and it takes up several parking spaces. This is a big eye sore and its what I see out of each of my windows. People hang out in it and it is very uncomfortable. They even go on the roof of it.
I moved here because they do not allow large dog breeds because I have a fear of them. There are large, aggressive dog breeds here.

Well first let me say I do love the apartments and staff that work in the office no issue there. But I can only give this apartment a two star rating because of the recent theft that has been happening is ridiculous at this point. My fiancé left for work only to find out someone had been in his car the pervious night, and let’s not forget to mention other residents who are waking up to the cars with completely no tires or rims. I just would like to know why there is still no security guard for this complex? Especially with what is going on now

The apartments are beautiful inside and out. I feel safe here. A little noisy neighbors but nothing to call the office about. The RV in the back is quite large and sits in front of everyones apartments taking up several parking spaces. I have a small RV that I keep at my moms because I didn't know we were able to park it here.
I love the car wash! Grounds are pretty.

I liked this place the moment I saw it in person. They have measures in place for security with personal key fobs. I like the privacy and peacefulness. Included washer/dryer, and a nice kitchen with granite countertops. I found parking in the morning and afternoon when the most people were home and out of work. Maintenance guy was pretty cool and quick to answer any questions/issues I had. The only thing that is missing is a butler. Joking this place is worth every penny.

Unfortunately, I have to give an updated review about Stephanie and management. I have lived here over 2 years, paid to leave which was over $2k and never paid my rent late. I was not allowed to have anyone walk the apartment upon leaving and I was not given a form to complete upon moving in. I say all this to say they are now charging me $85 and dog treatment. The stains were not my doing but somehow I’m held liable because no one allowed me a form to complete upon moving in. When I moved from another apartment in the same complex I was never charged for dog treatment, but now I’m being charged because they feel like it. This is no way to treat someone who has been a model resident the entire time.

Dont know which Emily people are talking about in the other reviews but the one I am dealing with, and have been dealing with since December has been awesome, straight forward and honest. We dont even live there. YET! But we want to, and Emily is a resource of information about the property and company. Compared to the other apartments in the area, The Sovereign is a dream.

I drove an hour out of my way for my scheduled appointment at 12: 30. When I arrived no one was at the office and wouldn't arrive until 1: 30. Since I already made the trip out there I rescheduled for 1: 30. No big deal. Once it gets closer to 1: 30 Emily answers the door with such a terrible attitude with me and my girlfriend. Acting like we were a burden to be there. She was very rude with my girlfriend and got an attitude with her very fast. She was very unprofessional and does not deserve to be in the postion that she is in. So the apartments themselves is not the problem since we couldn't even get to check them out. It's the management, specifically Emily who is the problem. I have never met anyone so rude for just doing their job.

Emily in management was SO RUDE to us. She shout to us we barely entered the office. We had 45 min waiting and still we were in a good mood for the tour. We didn’t see the apartment. The lady on the phone confirmed our appointment twice.disappointing, We're just looking for a home.

Jet was very helpful and responsive the entire way. He was one of the best leasing agents I have ever encountered!

I really was disappointed with my application process and firmly believe I was discriminated against. I make way more than the required amount for the rent and was given by Audrey the excuse of inconsistent pay stubs. My company is publicly traded and international and was not called for verification purposes. Maybe she did not like my foreign name.
And please do not reply to my comment with the " sorry to hear that and please contact the number ending by 2433. As we all know that number is re -routed to a call center.

This is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in! First of all, the people who work in the front office are awesome. Audrey (sp?) is always willing to help out, and she has such a wonderful, positive attitude. Jet is also extremely nice and helpful. They've made me feel completely at home.

Additionally, the apartments are spacious and clean. I love the newer appliances and the granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. I also love how they went with grey trim in my apartment. Grey goes with everything, so its been easy to decorate.

The pool is wonderful, and I've used gym several times. There's plenty of parking too.

I haven't had any issues with security, and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Just resigned my lease for another year! Love this place, it’s such a great community to live in Audrey is always so knowledgable about the property and on top everything! The property is very well taken care of and we couldn’t be happier to stay another year here!

Audrey was awful on her tour. Literally felt like I was bothering her. Didn’t get my information at the beginning of the tour. Didn’t know my name, she didn’t introduce herself. Horrible customer service experience. Property looks very nice as well as the grounds and inside of the apartment as well.

I love living at this community. We have been here for a year now and just resigned. Audrey in the leasing office is seriously the best person I have ever dealt with. Anytime I need anything she goes above and beyond to make sure it is done. She is very professional and always greets you with a smile. She for sure makes living here even better.

Me and my significant other are currently in a search for a new place near the area. We were blessed to have met Emily, during this search. Emily is a gem and truly makes this complex a wonderful place. She has been super helpful and kind to us. Emily was very knowledgeable of the property and area. She is such a beautiful soul. Emily assisted us with our search for almost two hours and answered every single one of my questions. Emily, you are truly a blessing and we thank you so much for everything that you have done for us!

As for the property, it was a VERY beautiful and cozy complex. They also had great amenities! The saltwater pool is great and so was the 24 hour gym. All the tenants were friendly. Plenty of parking available for residents. It was a very peaceful community! I hope I can look forward to calling this place my new home.

I am looking to move in the area, and when I was in town I came across this property. I was highly impressed by the welcome and customer service I received while inquiring information and when I went on tour with Emily she was such a breathe of fresh air with her patience and demeanor. She answered all of my thousands of questions precisely and even provided me with information that wasn’t on my list of concerns. The property was great, and the staff their seemed attentative and made me feel comfortable to consider moving my family into their property. I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you need some relief with home shopping for yourself and/or your family. Thanks you guys for making my experience delightful you deserve these 5 stars for the comfort you provided me through my home shopping.

I'm not a resident but the way these people run their offices are amazing! I had such a good experience I am hoping to we can become residents soon. Ashlee and Taylor are very helpful and knowledgeable about the complex and its deals/fees - nothing is hidden. Everything was really straightforward and they were so helpful & sweet. Another plus is their snacks and drinks in the model/office. This was helpful because I have a foodie 1year old who pointed them out and wouldn't stop eyeing them lol.

Amazing staff! Maintenance is always so courtesy and the office really makes you feel like you’re at home!
