When I go shopping I have help, I am a mother of 4 kids. My oldest is 5 years old. So when my husband take 2 1/2 hr off from work to help me shop it a big deal. I came today and when I was almost finish one of my kids who was sleeping in the car had an accident, I when to help my husband out telling two different people that I would be back for my cart fill with meat, fruit and other foods. Came back in to fine the shopping cart gone, ask two people who work for Cosco where it was, they had no clue. Found partial of my shopping cart, but only the can good and box goods. I asked another 3 people one being the GENERAL MANAGER of Cosco, he could have care less, but a girl said she look in the cooler, I decided to follow her, she never returned, a gentle mean who cleans up messes is the ONLY ONE who came back to me and told me it was no where. My husband went to cancel our membership, and was ask by 3 DIFFERENT employees why we were canceling, by this time between me and my husband we had repeated the same story 12 different times to 12 different people, I kid you not, sorry but your customer service sucks. SOME PEOPLE WHO say they will be right back DO ACTUALLY come BACK, and guess what I was only miss for about 15 minutes. That shopping took me over an hour. We cancel our membership, to many people could have care less, the man who clean the bathroom and messes on the floor actually did care, thank you SIR.

Some good deals but only if you use lots of things.

If you have a business or a large family and go through lots of food and clothes, the membership fee might make sense. They have good deals on clothing sometimes, but it's hit or miss. If you see a star (asterisk) on the price tag get that item now if you really want it. It'll be discontinued.

For Costco online, you don't need a membership. There is field to enter your number, but that's for the cash-back rewards. Some supplements and other items that you find on Amazon with the ridiculous shipping charges you can find on Costco's site for less.

The food court is nice with cheap prices. I really wish they would offer the same bulgogi bake from Costco-Korea (it's like the chicken bake, but with seasoned beef). If you have a sensitive stomach with reflux problems, you might have to skip the food court, though.

If you're on the fence as far as getting a membership, see if you have a friend with one so you can do some comparisons to see if it works for you. Remember you can also order online and skip the fee and the crowds.
