Costco Wholesale, San Antonio TX

Always crowded. Was impressed at the low pressure sales pitch from the cell phone contractor. Lines move fast in self checkout.

Went in for vehicle maintenance and chose to wait. Vehicle was serviced quickly. Staff was very friendly and polite. Waiting area was nice. There was a small refrigerator with bottled water in it. We were also offered a snack! We will be going back for any future service needs that we may have.

Lots of people there, but they made sure the check out lines moved pretty quickly and they even bagged our food

I went there yesterday to sign up for a membership. I was helped by MICHELLE in the membership department. Of course she was doing her job trying to up sell to get the better membership i completely understand. But at first i was waiting in line with my fiancé and she was just on her phone and she looked at me a couple times and still stayed on her phone. After she helped me and tried to update of course (i don't mind upselling at all) but once she turned to her coworker and make a comment about how " she can't stand people who think they are better then her ". I'm sorry but that's rude and very unprofessional. If you are going to make a comment make it when no ones around not when the customer is in front of you. Just because i kept denying the higher membership doesn't mean anything. I was happy with the store it self after i was walking around shopping but i will not return to that location because of that. That is rude and disrespectful me and my fiancé heard her and we're just done with her.

No complaints. All is good. Organized and efficient with pretty much anything you could ever need. Can't seem to stop spending my money at Costco. Make sure to grab a hot dog or a slice of pizza on the way out.

Costco has exceptional values with high quality and unbelievably low prices. I have been a member since 1982 and have had an executive membership since they introduced the program.

I Absolutely love this place, they know us well here, they always have food samples, buy all my detergents, trash bags, coffee, throw away Dixie plates, Their pork belly bacon slabs, hamburger meats, Ribeyes, vitamins, heavy whipping cream, butter, cream cheese in a huge tub, throw carpets, face mirror that lights up, My front door Ring! Toilet paper and Kirkland brand Paper towels a Lifetime supplies, bleach wipes, downy, tide and clothes, parmesan chips and cat food! Always fill up the basket! They are the best about returns also, they know me well and no questions asked! Bought my Matress here also, they have 10 year warranty and guaranteed if you dont like it take it back and trade it! That's the truth! Their return policy is great! I love The UTSA Blvd is the friendliest! Oh and cases of waters!

May I say this? If you haven’t shopped at Costco, you are 10 years behind the trend.
The products here are insanely reasonable priced.
I read that they only make 15% margin.
I used to be in whole sale business, I couldn’t survive at 15% margin. But Costco can.

Coors Bypass Warehouse

Slightly smaller than the Costco at the Renaissance Bldg. NE facility; however, it “packs it in. ” This warehouse is more convenient for folks on the NW-side of town.

Good staff.just a bit harried owing to Christmas (Feliz Navidad) rush/crush.

I’ve heard folks say, the “portions” are too big; but that’s what re-closable plastic bags are all about.

Coffee, tea, steaks, veggies, all the good stuff, and snacks in mega-ginormous sizes, and other really “bad stuff, ” too. Organic foods are also available.

Meds, beds, pots, pans, coffee, small appliances, office stuff, etc. Did I mention coffee, yes, organic coffee, too.

Handicapped parking and carts are available In the usual quantities.

Check your local website for store and gas station hours.

PS: it’s the staff that make this a great place.

Costco is always great. How can you be at an enormous $10 pizza? If only they had a gas station it would be perfect.

As you can see from my photos, I went for my regular list & was hoping to find allergy meds for Cedar season. In true Costco fashion, they have boatloads of it! But today they were missing my fav açaí smoothie packets. Bring those back, pleeeeeeaaaase!

I love this place. The membership fee pays for itself in six months. The store has great everyday products and they have a huge online selection of items including furniture and appliances.

Don't waste your time going to the Costco alcohol store on the outside of the building, The employees don't know what the h*** they're talking about. Tell just tell you they have it in stock for the sake of getting you off the phone so they don't have to deal with it. Complete waste of my time and money and of course all you get is I'm sorry sir, All I want for Christmas is for employees to know what the h*** they're doing and quit wasting my time.

Seems a bit pricey than Sam's. But the clothing selection looked great for the price. Food choices like fresh fish and crab was fantastic.

I like to get my meds there. You don't have to be a member to use their pharmacy. The food ie: packaging of guacamole in individual cups of 12 is great tasting. And their food court with slices of pizza/purchase it whole, Hebrew hotdogs and desserts like ice cream hits the spot, and watching people is a must. All in AC.

I bought two packs of chicken breast at a good deal, the quality of the food products are very good. Good store to do grocery shopping

Umm. It's Costco! Where you bulk up! Love the business model and how they care for their employees. Have you ever seen an unhappy employee there?

Good value, good selection, friendly staff.

The only issue is true of all Costco stores: if you see something you like, stock up, because their inventory changes arbitrarily and you may never see it again!

Great products. I have issues with finding dinner items and the staff doesn't assist like I think they should.

Costco 281 & 1604 is my favorite Costco in San Antonio TX. Great selection and service
Always has available parking.
