Dallas / Arlington KOA Holiday reviews
28Nice KOA right in the heart of everything! Very pet-friendly and kid-friendly. Close to restaurants, shopping and Six Flags.
Nice park, clean and tidy. Front gate for security, weekend smore fires and breakfast are a nice touch. Redhead at check-in was really helpful, but the two capable people in the office who would not sell propane at 5: 01 pm (Feb 28th) really disappointed me, very poor attitude.
Price increased for black tank dump use. Was $10 but as of March 2021 the price increased to $15.
This KOA is friendly and efficient but expensive.
I have been to this KOA at least six times. I have not stayed over night but I do go weekly to dump my black tank and monthly to refill my propane.
It does cost to dump but they find me a place to dump in about 5 minutes. The sites are clean and are pull through.
Refill of my propane is also quick and efficient.
Went tent camping for about a week. We knew that it would rain, but never expected the creek a few feet from us would overflow and flood our tent! Keep in mind that the creek is about 3-4ft from ground level, but it swelled up all the way and even partially engulfed the bridge next to the tent sites. I wish we had some warning that the area we were staying at was prone to flooding. Other than that, the place is clean and we'll maintained. Camp staff are friendly and it is an all around good place.
Cute stop along our way. We were here almost 3 years ago. Close to some great places to eat. It's sad to see that they still haven't repaired the horrible driveway.
Great place to live and/or just come out with your family or friends to a wonderful cramping adventure
Noisy and smack dad in the city. But I'm a country boy so it could have been gold covered and I wouldn't like it.
Friendly staff, pool was clean, quiet place will definitely stay again. Only negative is the laundry wasn't working so that's why a 4 star instead of 5.
Lots of trees.sites very close together.when we stayed bathrooms were being renovated.they brought in a trailer with 3 baths.showers had a single spring loaded handle that was no fun.ac condensation made floors wet.still, didn't count off since only temporary.friendly staff.very convenient to urban ft.worth.
Great service and friendly staff that endeavor to make your stay comfortable. Clean and well maintained throughout with gated access. Close to every kind of dinning imaginable and shopping as well. Bike rentals for the kids. The camping lodges are clean and comfortable and in my opinion better than most hotels.
The staff here are very courteous and friendly. My family and I had significant road trouble when we initially tried to stay with them and the staff allowed us to reschedule our trip. They are awesome!
Very awesome place to stay I recommend it to anyone people that work there or very nice and courteous and will help with anything
Decent place, easy to find. Nice spots. Restrooms we're being reno'd so we had to use a trailer bathouse-which is fine. But the showers in there were terrible. Also, had huge storm grates in the road which were deceptively sunk in. Was like driving over a huge pot hole, our sewer line scraped the pavement it was so deep.
Very nice campground, nice pool, decent park for the children. Washrooms are under renovation right now and laundry room is unavailable. I would recommend this campground near both stadiums and Six Flags. Wi-Fi is free but slow.
The person that check us in told us the bathroom and shower were not working so go to spaces 350 and use the bathroom and shower there BUT THAT WAS A LIE space 350 was just a spaces for a travel and No bathroom and showers so they LIE and I will NOT go back there
Clean, quiet, secure, level spots. Got there in time to swim, but pool closed early. Otherwise, good experience.
Bathhouse was down and on the hottest day (107) degrees the pool was closed. But It was a very clean camp ground
The website fails to mention that the bathroom and laundry area is out of order. There are 3 unisex bathroom stalls/showers to service the entire campground.
Nice KOA! It is sort of hidden and you almost miss the turn into the park, so drive slowly up to the building and the turn is to the left of the main building.
Counter help was young and uninformed, clubhouse closed for repairsremodel, wifi very very weak ending up using our own data, charged us a premium price for the stay, the escort almost drive me into overhead tree, he was going to cut it instead of moving me into a spot with better clearance. Locked gate at 6pm, Grounds we're pretty though. Difficult entry. Won't go back
