Dallas / Arlington KOA Holiday reviews
28In the city, however very good spot to stay. Nice sites. Staff very helpful. Cut away branches for us so the rig would not be harmed.
AVOID THIS KOA!
It was a pretty me and my family stayed there we liked the pool but there was a little tiny camp thing for the bathroom and we did not like it, it was a tight space and I don't like tight spots or areas I am a little clastrophobic and the sight had a tree but it needed to be bigger and over the tables my family did not like this for a KOA and we will not be staying again!
When we booked, we were not told the bathrooms and showers were out. They now have it on their website. However, speaking to those that have been staying for a month or more, there has been no work towards fixing the problem. Sites are small, you do have cable. WiFi is terrible! The staff was very friendly.
Bathrooms were in construction which is fine but they did not tell us until after we paid. There were temporary bathrooms, only 3 and none of them had toilet paper and they were supposed to serve the entire campground. Lots of permanent residents.
The pool was nice but that was it. Extremely poor condition for a KOA.
Closed restroom, showers, laundry. Temporary porta potties are disgusting.
Management needs to assign a person FULL time just on toilets, it's unsanitary and not safe.
We enjoyed our stay here. It was in town, but still a quiet park. I like that it is fenced and that the groundskeepers were frequently seen riding around picking up garbage and checking things out. The lady in the office was super nice and even offered us a free night! It was really nice to have a fenced dog run too.
Not willing to work with out of town workers, has been taken off of my list of "go to" places.
It's a city campground, so know what to expect - not a foray into nature! A tricky entrance for those travelling south, but overall this is a great park. Closest you'll find to a bunch of local attractions. The laundry facilities were decent, with a couple of issues that were sorted out by the staff (who are all friendly and professional). The dog park is split into small and large dog areas. Not huge, but bigger than most campground parks I've seen. Plenty of room for the pup to stretch his legs. If you are looking for a place in town, and enjoy the KOA style campgrounds, you shouldn't be disappointed. They are usually busy, so make reservations if you can.
