Dallas Family Medical Dr Julie Reihsen, Addison TX

I've been going to Dallas Family Medical for awhile and I'm pleased with the customer service and the care provided by the medical staff.

Honestly the worst experience I had going to the Doctor's office. The staff before Mrs. Mendez was great and very welcoming. Right when Mrs. Mendez came in she was very loud and upfront, basically did not ask why I was there, or what issues I am having. Just started saying how they won't be able to help me, and it is up to me to stay or leave to find another office. This is before I was asked anything or why I am there. Just made it seem like I was there for drugs and not help. I did address it and she did apologize and she did try to tone it down, but the damage was done, even if they did decide to listen or take a different approach on why I am there, I did not feel welcome or would be able to have a good relationship with the staff after being judged before I could even speak. They did take the co pay off as a way to apologize but yes won't be coming back and I just advice people to search elsewhere to not feel judge or put down for looking for help.

I have been a patient here for over 4 years. The office is well managed and I am always seen close to my scheduled appointment time. The staff is always professional.

You will not find a physician that cares more about your well being than Dr. Reihsen. She is truly concerned about your health and well being. I highly recommend her. I am fortunate I found her four years ago when I was transferred to the Dallas area. Look no further for a competent, highly skilled and qualified physician. She is definitely the one that will take care of you and your family.

Dr. Reihsen has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. My children are third generation patients of her practice.
If you are concerned about your health and are seeking a provider that is committed to your recovery/wellness AND will invest in your continued health throughout you and your family’s lifetime; Dr. Reihsen is a wonderful choice!

I love Dr. Reihsen. She is always so polite and helpful and very knowledgeable about a lot. She makes going to the doctor not so scary and her staff are wonderful.

Dr Julie is very good with her patients and provides both compassionate care and great information on a number of topics. First time using a tele health call and it went really great the staff was kind and helpful!

Dr. Reihsen has been my # 1 doctor for over 15 years, not only for me but for my Wife and now Daughter. Thank you Doc for everything.

The rating is for the office staff, not Dr. Reihsen herself. They screwed up an important prescription for me, told me they were going to fix it and call me back, but didn't. When I checked with the pharmacy, I found out they didn't do anything-so I'm going to have to pay twice as much for my medication.second time this has happened. I don't like like being played that way, so now, after many years, I'm having to find myself another doctor because of the staff issues. I doubt Dr. Reihsen will miss my business anyway. Very disappointing, because of the difficulty its takes to find a doctor, esp at my age.: (

REIHSEN I FIND THAT SHE IS THE BEST THUMBS UP I LOVE HER SHE IS VERY COMPASSIONATE AND VERY CONCERN ABOUT YOUR HEALTH I'M SO THANKFUL THAT SHE IS MY DOCTOR BECAUSE SINCE I HAVE BEEN UNDER HER CARE THINGS HAVE REALLY CHANGED FOR THE BETTER. Wonderful physician, fantastic care. I’ve always gotten the best of care with Dr. Reihsen. I feel confident that no matter what’s going on; she’s going to get to the bottom of it. I cannot count the times she’s called me at home at 5 o’clock sometimes past 5 o’clock to check in on me or to let me know results that we’ve been waiting on. I reccomend her to everyone I know. I feel fortunate to have found her.

Been a patient here for years and service is great! Sometimes my time with the doctor feels a bit rushed, but if I have questions prepared, she does address them.

As a patient of Dr. Reihsen's for over 15 years, I can only say that Dr. J is fantastic. She's extremely thorough and tells it like it is. It's great to see how her practice has grown over the years. She was recommended to me by my girlfriend (now my wife:) and her Dr. J had been their family doctor for years. During my 1st visit, I was somewhat underwhelmed by the physical appearance of the office (the old location on Trinity Mills). But I was looking for a doctor, not a building, and I'm happy to say she's my doc!

Of course, I've had appointments where I waited for much longer than I would've liked and only a few times. But happens at most medical offices. On the other hand, she's worked me in on a moments notice when I really needed medical care - and I know the office does this for anyone if they can.

We moved 20 miles away and I still see Dr J, and the new offices and staff are awesome.

If you're looking for a doc that puts the patient first and tells you what you need to hear and what she thinks, give Dr J and her team a try - they could be just right for you too.

I'm not a person that likes to post things at all, However, I would like to do so and only because I’m so happy My wife and made the switch to Dr Reihsen. She is not your typical 2-3 minute visit, ask a few questions and pay the copay kind of doctor. NO, not at all, she is the best doctor that I could have imagine for us. She cares for us, she gets on me for not being responsible and she calls to check on you. I don't know what you all consider a doctor, but to me she is the real deal. I’m so happy with her and believe, I’m as picky as they come.

Recently I also noticed the staff changed and it noticeable. The new staff is extremely friendly and nice. But the best thing is that they listen. Good job recognizing the need to change.

NO one paid me to do this, not I’m getting free checkups. But I highly recommend this doctor. We come from Grand Prairie, and honestly, the 40minute drive is worth the visit.

Dr. Reihsen and her staff are as efficient as they come. I am always about 15 min early to my appt and I never wait more than 5 min in the waiting room. Also, they now store patient information electronically which is super convenient since they also electronically send prescriptions to your pharmacy. It’s alway a breeze coming to Dr. Reihsen’s office:)

I have gone to Dr. Reihsen several times and I have been very happy with my experiences - I've had appointments with the nurse practitioner and the doctor and they can usually get me an appointment same day and take good care of me plus she's right down the road from my home and super convenient for me and my husband. I highly recommend them.

I always have a good experience at Dr. Reihsen's office. I like the fact that she is very thorough when it comes to my health. I would definitely recommend her if you don't have a primary physician.

Dr. Reihsen to me Is very rude and my husband feels the same way. You can't get a word in with her. It's like you're wrong and she's right.

Honestly, I was a little nervous in reading some of these reviews. Dr. Reihsen was so kind though, she was very informative and seemed like she was really interested in helping me.

I've been going to Dr. Reihsen for well over 10 years. Not sure if those 1-star reviews were isolated incident; but speaking for myself, my experiences has been nothing but positive through the years. I would definitely recommend her to my own friends and family. She's so charming.
