Dr. Patricia D. Salvato, MD reviews
26I am so relieved to FINALLY find a knowledgeable doctor for Lyme disease. She is extremely thorough and actually listens. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Salvato!
Dr. Patricia Salvato has been my doctor for almost 15 years. When I moved to Kingwood from Illinois, the Physician I had got into would not treat me. My Fibromyalgia was in high gear. They said I would have to go to Dr Salvato. I’m am so thankful they sent me to her. Over the years she has worked with me to help me have the best life I can. The medications have changed over the years whenever needed. All I can say is “Thank God for Dr. Patricia Salvato”!
Dr Salvato has been my doctor for over 15 years. She takes the time to listen and assess your needs. I highly recommend her & her staff.
She is the BEST! Saw scores of doctors for years without understanding what was wrong with me. Misdiagnosed, mistreated, wrong prescriptions. Then I met Dr Salvato. An excellent diagnostician who, within a few visits decoded what was wrong and started me down the path with the proper specialists. LOVE this doctor!
Dr. Salvato treated me and our daughter for lyme. She kept us on strong antibiotics for years. We eventually went to a specialist in MN (where almost all docs are lyme specialists) who told us neither of us had lyme. My daughter has suffered from serious health complications because of the long time she spent on antibiotics. I also just cleaned out a cabinet where I stored prescribed drugs that I never needed or used. One bottle was 240 oxy pills to be taken once every 4 hrs. Another prescription was for 90 oxy pills. That is frightening. What if I'd taken them? I could have been hooked and perhaps even died.
FABULOUS DOCTOR! I went to see Dr. Salvato a while back. The ATP shots really worked for me. I was extremely exhausted and the shots made a huge difference. Dr. Salvato is very professional and nice. She really cares about her patients. The staff is very kind and professional. I saw her again recently because I was so extremely tired. I got one ATP shot and the next day I felt like a new person. She is awesome!
Dr Salvato saved my life. When I went in for my test results and found that I have rickettsial disease, she saw the pain in my face, she saw the fear for my life. She listened to me. That is not something I can say for most doctors. She listened.
I was not going to make it. Looking back, I didn’t have much time left. My body was doing crazy stuff with the kidney functions and oxygen levels. Kidney function was going up and down which is unheard of. Thought to be an error but I’m not sure it was. I had blood in my urine and I felt awful, and I had taken a kidney and liver detox tea the day before. Seems strange that the day before my kidney function dropped I had a kidney and liver detox tea? Anyway, whatever it was. I know I wasn’t going to make it. The feeling is indescribable, just something you know.
We just need a clone of her. Praying that she trains another physician in her practice so there will always be a healing hand in Houston. I don’t know if it’s just the knowledge she has, but she also has a warm welcoming presence to her.
I also wanted to add that they are getting so much better with answering the phones. They have so many patients and it seemed to be difficult for them to manage the phones before, but they just hired someone to help and they are really doing amazing now. Very proud of them.
Have been a patient since 1991, and Dr. Salvato has saved my life twice. She is compassionate and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend her.
Im very grateful to have found Dr Salvato 2 years ago. After 45 years of misdiagnosis, psychiatrists telling me it's all in my head, going to at least 30 drs over the years, and mental hospitals, many different antidepressants that only made me worse, TMS, ECT, and pain meds. All of them were treating my symptoms without doing proper bloodwork & finding hard evidence.
On my first visit Dr Salvato ordered bloodwork,
I went for my follow up and she informed me I had Lyme disease, put me on antibiotic treatment. I have been lyme free for a year now, but still had no energy. We did more bloodwork & other tests, she discovered I have toxic mold syndrome with 3 other mold infestations, I am currently on treatment for that now.
She is a very busy doctor, with a lot of patients.
I have had no trouble in the office, the staff has been courteous on the phone also, but they are pretty swamped. I will stick with her as my PCP even though I have to drive 60 miles round trip for appointments. Dr Salvato has been a Godsend for me!
Excellent bedside manners, wonderful smile and very chipper, which you don’t really see that in MDs lol. Extremely knowledgeable in Lyme and MTHFR
Dr. Salvato by herself is a true healer and supporter - many people already confessed to me she saved their children lives from misery or even death, and many-many people are very thankful to her.
However - be prepared - the office staff work quality can turn to the very big frustration. If that happen - drive to her office and schedule the appointment right by the register window. Also dialing extension 302 or 303 may help.
I like Dr. Salvato. But her staff has a lot to be desired. I had a blood test done the last time i was there several months ago. Ive asked 3 times for the result of that test and also whether or not Dr. Salvato wants to see me. No response. Ive been diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue. The medicine hasnt helped that much. I guess its time for me to look for another doctor. Its hard, as not many doctors out there know much about my illnesses. I am very discouraged.
.
I Hear She's a Great Doctor.but I've been trying to get a. Appointment for 2months.i do not understand why is it taking so long? I'm very sickly and i need medicine asap for several health problems: (
She is patient and is the dr who finally figured out what was wrong with me and got me on the right treatment plan. Wouldn’t trade her for the world
Very bad service when it comes to becoming a patient with them i started the process more than a month ago and have yet to be able to see a doctor and every time i call it’s always something even when i express that this is a matter that needs attention and they still give me long winded responses
For many years I could not get a diagnosis from many doctors.
First visit did all my bloodwork
they called a out a week for me to come in and have a conference with Dr. Salvato.
Was diagnosed.got on meds and also in her pain management program. Now for approx.nine years. My best friends use her as their doctor also my family.
I thank God everyday for
bringing her into my life.
Carol the PA in the office is also fantastic. I've seen Dr. Hart a number of times. They are all a blessing to their profession, and I'm so blessed they are in my life.
Dr. Salvato is very kind. She actually listens to her patients. She has been taking excellent care of me for several years. She treats me with respect and compassion.
She was a pioneer in treating HIV years ago and continues today with autoimmune diseases that are hard to diagnose and treat.
Dr. Salvato is highly intelligent and very thorough. She is well respected and an excellent diagnostician. I have been a patient of hers for 20 years. I have referred both family and friends to her practice.
After years of misdiagnosis and miscarriages, Dr. Salvato has been my family’s saving grace by treating me for Chronic Lyme’s Disease and co infections. She has always made us feel cared for, understood and even safely treated my flare ups during my recent pregnancy and delivery. She is a God send.
Dr. Salvato is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable about autoimmune diseases. She has been my doctor for several years, and has done amazing things for me. She thinks about things that other doctors might not suggest, and is willing to listen to whatever ideas you might have.
Additionally, her staff are awesome. They do everything they can to help you and back up Dr Salvato. I have had nothing but great experiences since I have been there. Even though there are some things that we try which don't work, I am very impressed with the fact that at least she tries everything she can think of to help me feel my best!
