El Pollo Loco, San Antonio TX

I’m extremely surprised on how well el pollo loco’s service has been through this pandemic. This spot is definitely 5 stars and the food itself was very adequate for fast food

I love Pollo Loco delicious chicken meal. Its like having a home cooked meal! The employees are so friendly. Hooray for Pollo Loco!

I asked for chicken well cook, almost burnt on the tips and u would not believe me, but they did my request! I have never been to a restaurant where they make the request the way u want it! My chicken was delicious and the rice and beans were fresh! My tortillas were also cooked over the grill! Wow! This was awesome experience and I hope they keep the good work up! Thank u Polo Loco! Ur the best!

I ordered half chicken plate with mashed potato and beans. The plate was missing chicken breast and gave me rice instead of mashed potato. Called the business but no answer. Never going back!

I was pleased with the service and to is. When I pass through San Antonio I will make a special stop.

This was my first time at a Pollo Loco and I have heard nothing but good things. Maybe my expectations were too high because of this, but I was waiting for an explosion of flavor that just wasn't there. The ingredients in the chipotle chicken avocado burrito looked good (fresh avocado, moist and tender chicken). Salsa roja is one of the ingredients and according to their salsa bar, it is supposed to be very spicy. I didn't get that experience at all. Overall, the food was okay, but since I was expecting more flavor, I walked away feeling underwhelmed.

It took 35 minutes for my orders. The employees were not professional. Never go back to this one

This location Specifically has shorted me $$. My 16 piece meal was under $40 and my change was only $30. I brought it up to the drive through employees attention. But he did not give me a receipt (while still waiting for my meal) i did not get my other $30 back from my $100 bill. Ive tried calling iver and over but the answering machine automatically mentions that they are unable to accept calls. The food taste has nothing to do with the rating other than they are thieves.

Food was just what I expected, yummy, flavorful, like the portion size, service was good, dining area clean, but restroom in ladies room, needs attention.

They have a salsa bar, but no to-go containers for the salsa, you have to ask them to give you some, they are out of forks so we use spoons to eat our chicken.need to sweep and mop salsa bar floor more often, the floor is always sticky. Not enough Serrano peppers. Lids to soft drink cups are wrong size, when asked the employees about the lids, they replied "that's what the warehouse sent us".
On the plus side Chicken, rice & pinto beans taste delicious, real authentic Mexican flavor, great deals, price wise, that's why I still go back once a week. Please find solution to these minor problems.

This place is a hit or miss. If you're looking to come inside, sit down and eat, DON'T! It is extremely filthy inside, service inside is horrible, and you'll regret ordering here after you see the salsa bar. It's just disgusting. If you're planning to do the drive thru, food is ok. Order is right most of the time, (I have gotten home a few times and it was wrong). They are stingy with the avocado salsa, they don't like giving it out. All in all, if you're in a hurry, and want some Pollo Loco, this place is alright. There is a much better pollos asados place down the road. Look it up.

This is a really good place to eat at The manager Mr. ENGLAND IS AN AWESOME PEOPLE ORIENTED PERSON. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. IF THERE WERE 6 STARS I would have given them 6 stars

The best grilled chicken and their beans are the bestest. Flavorful and hot! The staff is very friendly. Great customer service! I love going there.

This place never has chicken ready for their customers. The last time I went they said it was a 20 min wait. I went today and they said it is a 40 min wait. This is ridiculous Fredericksburg location is way batter.

Usually the food is great. This location i can't say that. I spent ten bucks on my lunch ave ate two of the pieces of chicken and threw out the rest due to dry and lack of flavor.

I've always had a good experience here. Food is on point and employees are courteous. Rice and beans always tasty.

It was pretty good the wait wasn't long and the people there pretty helpful and the food was great

I waited 20 mins in drive thro. 20 mins. All this for 5 pcs of chicken. After 20 mins, I drive off and then find it is completely burnt. All the 5 pcs were charred. How could the employees plate a charred chicken pc? Is there no quality control? Look at the leg piece. It's so shrunk and cut so small this won't even classify as 1 pc. After 20 mins, they should have given me extra stuffs, instead I got charred pieces, awful food, 4 pcs instead of 5. Awful awful awful food. Pls don't go thro drive-thro or make sure you check ur food before leaving.
